Head Master We salute you

THANK YOU (TIPUUSIYA) MR. HEAD MASTER OF WALEWALE SECONDARY TECHNICAL SCHOOL (WALESECTECH)
As an old student of my beloved Alma-Ata Walewale Secondary Technical School (Walesectech). I can’t wait but quickly show my delight, appreciation and happiness to the quick sense of duty of Mr. Jakpar since he took office as headmaster less than two years ago. The speed with which Mr. Jakpar has brought social and infrastructural transformation to my Alma Ata deserves commendation and acknowledgement.
Just less than Two years in office the selfless headmaster is able to achieved the following.
a)The School had a huge challenge of encroachments on its land by the indigenes around, but as soon he took office he constructed a huge wall around the school to properly demarcate and secure the boundaries of the school. This is very thoughtful of him isn’t it? If this amazing and calculated step had not been taken, my dear reader, what do you think the situation would have being like come the next five years? Hope your guess is as good as mine.
Now with the walling of the school the entrance to the campus has also been given a befitting design reminiscent of the likes of PRESEC among others. We are very proud of that.
Hitherto security on campus was severely compromised because one could enter the campus from any direction. A security post is now in place and security men checks visitors to and from and from the campus isn’t it laudable?
b) Through his ingenuity, he has lobbied to get one more dormitory block built to ease the accommodation challenges of the students.
c) All the school vehicles that were grounded have all been refurbish and now running.
d) He has also succeeded in injecting financial discipline in to the finances of the school which is already yielding dividends. To the extent that the school has been able to make some savings to organize a first ever get together for the entire student body before they went for the long vacation.
e) The intolerable levels of indiscipline among students which was a source of worry to parents, teachers and all other stakeholders is considerably brought under control. He has succeeded in adopting workable administrative strategies to deal with recalcitrant behaviors, lateness, disrespect and the most disturbing phenomenon of bleaching among students.
Fellow WALESECTECANS, if one is able to achieve all these in less than two years not to mention those still in the pipeline, doesn’t he deserve a pat in the back, an award of course?.For the start however, we ought to acknowledge his hard work and follow it up later with a grand recognition I suppose everybody is with me?.
It is against this backdrop that I am making a clarion call on all fellow WALESECTECANS both alumni and students alike to develop keen interest in the welfare of the school and let us at least for the first time in the history of the school come together as old boys and girls to establish an alumni Association for the progress of the Great WALWSECTECH.
Mr Headmaster once again Tipuusiya, i salute you and thank you.
