The Presidency has directed the board of the National Service Scheme (NSS) to ask the scheme's disgraceful and hypocrite Executive Director Vincent Kuagbenu to take his accumulated leave.
A source close to the board of directors of the NSS related, that a formal correspondence had been received from the Chief of Staff directing that Mr Kuagbenu report to the Office of the President for reassignment after the expiration of his leave.
The Executive Director of the National Service Secretariat, Vincent Kuagbenu made a very sad statement that striking Teachers must not be paid for the number of days they stay out of the classroom and kept on talking more of such nonsense against the Teachers fighting for their rights. He described as "barbaric" and "antiquated", the use of strikes by Teachers and other unions to demand better conditions of service. Speaking to an Accra based Radio station, Kuagbenu said using pupils and students as "bargaining tools" is "unethical" and "unprofessional."
Kuagbenu, who was also a Teacher, disgracefully displayed and exhibited arrogance and hypocrisy. He is the one to be described as barbaric, outmoded and a cannibal ("a teacher eating a teacher"). Some one who can be in the position to kill his own mother for Position.
The bogus Vincent Kuagbenu further accused the leadership of the national association of graduate teachers (NAGRAT) and the Ghana national association of teachers (GNAT) of gross inefficiency in leading their unions.
It is a pity that "Kuagbenu who was yesterday sitting under the tree with his fellow Teachers but today got the opportunity to be on top of the tree is making an big mouth, all of a sudden speaking in tones."
Kuagbenu (a big figure in the "Animal Farm", "All Animals are equal but some are more equal than others.") said, "the output of the Teachers doesn't merit an increment in their allowances. Don't pay people who take illegal decisions, he stressed adding that strikes are antiquated and that, any union that calls for people to strike is showing inefficiency in a our present constitutional era."
The most sad thing about the useless so-called Executive Director, Kuagbenu is that he could only criticise the striking Teachers without bringing out any reasonable concept, he has nothing better for his fellow Teachers than to pounce on them, tie them tight and whip them (drag them in the mud). As an Executive Director of the National Service Secretariat, he unwisely exercised attacks on his fellow Teachers and could not even make a single suggestion as to how best Teachers could go about their grievances, apart from embarking on strike.
Kuagbenu's behaviour towards Teachers reminds me of a famous German adage which goes, " Just wear a German a Military attire, he will begin to match forward, backward and sidewards (alone) without a commanding officer."
