It would have actually put the party a notch up the moral and political ladder, if the country's main opposition New Patriotic Party had contributed financially and handsomely towards the Yvonne Nelson-led Dumsor protest demonstrations. I am also quite certain that if any individual private citizens contributed materially towards the Dumsor demonstration, they very likely were of the same progressive psychological bent as many a member, supporter and sympathizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). And collectively in both cash and kind, they would have offered far more than the GHC 5,000 which this simpering SOB called Baah-Acheamfuor claims NPP National Organizer John Boadu had earmarked on an itemized budgetary list for the Nelson Group at party headquarters.

First of all, I am elated that Nana Akomea, the NPP's Communications Director, has come out to publicly, albeit almost belatedly, and poignantly expose that rascal for what he is, a criminal poseur with false claims to membership of the New Patriotic Party's Communications Team. It is quite obvious that somebody among the top-echelon executive membership of the party put this congenital buffoon to such flagrant and brazen mischief. On the latter count, then, this Baah-Acheamfuor oaf strikingly reminds me of Dr. McHypocrite, the equally clinically stupid Irmo, South Carolina, rebrobate resident who garishly prefers to imperiously present himself as a "founding member" of the New Patriotic Party.

As we all know, the South Carolina Fifth-Columnist continues to criminally and doggedly pursue his single-minded determination to derail the certain realization of an Akufo-Addo Presidency in our time, even long after he has been thoroughly defeated and exposed for the medical license-hacking fraud that he is. His latest agenda is to have the most thoroughgoing corrupt postcolonial Ghanaian leader prosecute one of the country's finest former attorney-generals and ministers of justice for a crime forensically and judicially proven to have been committed by the widely alleged architect of the Rawlings-led Provisional National Defense Council's death squads of the 1980s. McHypocrite's cowardly mischief, once again, will get stuck in his rotten teeth.

Well, the first doubt with which I greeted the Baah-Acheamfuor malarkey was the failure of this mischief-making reprobate to cause to be published a copy of the alleged itemized budgetary allocation list on which he claims to have personally espied the Yvonne Nelson "gift" at party headquarters. If it is true that Mr. Baah-Acheamfuor, a non-party-headquarters administrative executive, has been receiving information about confidential affairs over which he is not supposed to be privy to, then, of course, such anomaly ought to be promptly investigated and the culprit(s) consonantly and commensurately sanctioned.

For me, personally, even more scandalous and telling of the abjectly low quality of Ghanaian journalism, was the rash decision by an Accra radio station to put such criminal mendacity out into the public domain without demanding hard evidence or requesting official verification and confirmation, or otherwise, from party headquarters. I suppose it was all in an unscrupulous bid to clinching a scoop in hopes of causing embarrassment to the leadership of the New Patriotic Party. Now, it is imperative for the administrative leadership of the NPP to ensure that Mr. Baah-Acheamfuor does not stray anywhere near party headquarters. He has proven himself to be a party member unworthy of the trust of both party members and the leadership.

By all means, let Mr. Baah-Acheamfuor fatuously claim bona fide membership of the nation's largest political party; after all, a political party is a public organization open to all eligible citizens. What Mr. Acheamfuor has no inalienable right to is to be either elected or appointed to any executive or leadership position. That ought to be earned and validated as such on the basis of well-demonstrated integrity and responsibility on part of the seeker of such privilege. And so far, Mr. Acheamfuor has amply demonstrated that he has neither the integrity nor the responsibility of character to be invited to sit among the ranks of those intent on moving the agenda of the party and nation ahead.
