Is Dr Afari Gyan Really a Hero?

Yes, Dr Kwadwo Afari Gyan, the Chairman of the Electoral Commission is a hero and a role model to certain persons in Ghana. To the likes of Honourable Okudzeto Ablakwah, MP and a Deputy Education Minister, Kwadwo Afari Gyan is not only a role model, but also, a hero to them and their children.

Why does Okudzeto Ablakwah, that baby with sharp teeth, Dracula vampire fangs of course, illegally availing himself of the public coffers as Dracula would suck blood from his victims as and when he desired, wouldn’t say Afari Gyan is a hero? Had it not been for Afari Gyan colluding with NDC to implement policies that facilitated the rigging of elections, especially Election 2012, for NDC and then presidential candidate John Dramani Mahama, Okudzeto Ablakwah would not have become that rich.

Afari Gyan ganging up with NDC to create means to bring them to power has made it possible for Okudzeto Ablakwah to become a Deputy Minister, first, of Information, and then, of Education, to be able to illegally enrich himself. Only God knows the fleet of petrol tankers, cars, and the number of petrol filling stations this young man has. Were it not for Afari Gyan resorting to his questionable pre-election, during election, and after election, tactics that damned his credibility as the chair of the Electoral Commission, Okudzeto would never have had the chance to be in the political arena to amass illegal wealth. Subsequently, Afari Gyan will be his hero and a role model to his children.

On the other hand, to many a discerning Ghanaian, Afari Gyan is a devil incarnate, if not the devil himself. All the current woes of Ghanaians are to be blamed on this damnable Afari Gyan, that obstinate and arrogant septuagenarian. He rigged election 2012 for John Mahama, for that fact, I know. And he knows that I know.

His nonsensical classical definition of “Over voting” and his vain endeavours to twist the earlier agreed pre-election definition of “NVNV” – No Verification No Vote, tell volumes; giving him away. “If I say verification, I mean biometrically”, he had said.

Afari Gyan can only be a hero to the crooks within the NDC party and government with those in NPP sabotaging Nana Akufo Addo, inclusive. Had it not been for the evilness of Afari Gyan, John Mahama and his NDC thieves in government would not have been in power to mess up the economy of Ghana through gargantuan acts of corruption shielded by their audacious belief of “Yen ntia obiara”

Okudzeto Ablakwah, thou shalt answer to God, your Maker, for seeing Afari Gyan as a hero because he has created an opportunity for you to acquire illegal wealth at the expense of the suffering Ghanaian masses. Afari Gyan is only a crook in the eyes of many a Ghanaian.

Heroes never defecate in witness box when under cross-examination, but I heard, he did. As I write, he is rumoured to be arranging with the NDC to rig Election 2016. He has been passed the details of some illegally, but biometrically registered foreign nationals. These people have been registered as NDC party card-bearing members. Passing their details on to the Electoral Commission can guarantee them national voter’s card to enable them cast their votes for the NDC in 2016 to enable the likes of Okudzeto Ablakwah to continue to plunder Ghana.

By the way, was Paul Victor (PV) Obeng not a hero to some NDC members including Rawlings? How much of his illegally acquired wealth did his friends and family permit him to carry to the underworld, his new destination.

It is customary not to speak ill of the dead so I shall not discuss P.V. Obeng in this publication. Afari Gyan is neither my hero nor a role model. He is simply a crook moving about with his stomach. Shame on this old man! He is a disgrace to old age and grey hair.
