Is Minority Leader, Haruna Iddrisu, that stupid?

I am very sorry to ask if the Minority Leader, Haruna Iddrisu, is that stupid but I am very convinced he is. I have just read a publication on Ghanaweb where he has served notice that the opposition NDC in parliament will ensure through opposing any attempts by the ruling NPP Government to using oil revenue to fund government projects like the free Senior High School and the National Health Insurance Scheme. He claims the government cannot use the money with the sole aim of alleviating poverty in the country.

This is the height of stupidity and exhibition of incompetence to understanding how a nation’s resources are used for the collective interests of the citizens through human resources development, creation of jobs and nation development/building.

What does he want the proceeds from the oil (petroleum) to be used for? Does he want the money to be shared among the few politicians as it was perceived to be happening under the former President Mahama’s NDC-led government?

How dare he say that? This is the quality of people elected by Ghanaians to go to parliament to make laws to govern Ghana. Is there any sense in what he is saying; yet, he has the guts to laugh at someone (Ms Mercy Adu Gyamfi) as a hairdresser who cannot speak or understand English?

There is no wonder that many a Ghanaian has not much respect for Ghanaian parliamentarians if that is the way they reason and behave.

I call for Haruna Iddrisu to be replaced as I find him a complete misfit in his post as the Minority Leader in parliament. With such calibre of MPs who do not know how best to alleviate the poverty of the people and are not in post to help the people but their selfish interests, how do we expect our White contemporaries to have any respect and recognition for the African?

I had better end here or else my emotions, will carry me to take Haruna Iddrisu to the cleaners to have him properly laundered to rid him of such absurd intents unbefitting of a Member of Parliament, let alone, a Minority Leader.

Interested public readers could check the underlying web link to see how Haruna Iddrisu is making a big joke of himself.
