A jewel to be cherished and adorned with stars and illustrious men and women who exhibit such traits as grit, determination, dedication, discipline, perseverance, confidence, and patience, among other positive attributes.

Ghana’s Democracy Trophy:

As winners of Ghana’s maiden ‘Democracy Cup,’ which the team won by beating arch-rivals Accra Hearts of Oak, Asante Kotoko Sporting Club shall be competing against Washington’s DC United for a trophy dubbed the ‘African Cup,’ on Saturday, October 12, 2024.

The goal of this match is to foster a continuous relationship between Ghana’s Premier League and America’s MLS teams. In addition, it continues the relationship between the USA and Ghana in the arena of good governance.

We, the members of the club’s supporters union scattered across the globe, both in Ghana and abroad, wish to congratulate our warriors for not only winning but also beating our arch-rivals and nemesis, Hearts of Oak, to the maiden democracy cup.

It made for a sweeter victory. The game would also be the first time any of the teams (Hearts, Kotoko) had beaten the other 3 consecutive times (3 times in a row) in a sporting calendar year.

As the start of the new season draws nearer, we pray for life, excellent
health and focus for the entire team in our quest to win the league and all
available trophies, including the FA Cup.
