Kwesi Pratt Pouncing On Other People

It Pains To Read From Somebody Like Kwesi Pratt Pouncing On Other People

It is really very painful to read from people like Kwesi Pratt, the so-called Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper, lashing out the government for its inactive attitude to prosecuting former government officials believed to have committed financial crimes to the state.

Pratt said the government was by its inaction wavering in its commitment to dealing with the canker of corruption, forgetting that he himself is one of the corrupt people to be prosecuted. It is believed that he, Kwesi Pratt, for some time ago also took bribe in a very gigantic amount of Ghana Cedis to publish nonsense against one Political Party in favor of another Party.

He also went to South Africa at the expense of the Ghanaian Tax payer, only to hide in a Hotel, to eat and drink for free and on top collected some hundreds of Dollars (also for free) without providing the Ghanaian people with any bit of useful information about Sports for which he was taken to South Africa. Kwesi Pratt, paragraphed some information he believes were enough evidence to establish a case of corruption against appointees of the Kufuor administration stating for an example “looking at the Auditor-General’s Report on the public purse for 2008, it is shocking that the State lost more than fifty-one billion Cedis and therefore some action ought to be taken.” Pratt even went to the extent of calling for the dismissal of Mrs Mould Iddrisu, he said, “if Betty Mould is retained, it is a huge problem for her and the government.”

How can a person like Kwesi Pratt shamefully come out to judge people and also talk talk about corruption and prosecution of other people? He has forgotten to “clean his own doorstep, first before telling his neighbor to be tidy”. Pratt must be careful not be a victim of the Law, for his cheep popularity through his hypocrisy and greediness.

This is not the first time Kwesi Pratt is baring his chest about his frustrations regarding the government’s inaction on corruption.

Last year he called on the president to take on the ex-Ministers but those calls appeared to have fallen on deaf ears. Who is Akwesi Pratt to dictate to the government?
