Columnist: Musah Ibn Wahid

Let's eliminate politics of insults and personal attacks in our constituency elections

Musah Ibn Wahid (No Time), an aspiring candidate for the position of Deputy secretary in kpandai constituency is sending a piece of advice to all aspirants of the NDC to avoid politics of insults and personal attacks.

Musah Ibn Wahid posted on his facebook wall on Friday 11th May 2018 stating that " as we are picking our forms to contest for the constituency elections, I urge each and every member of the NDC party to campaign gently by marketing him or herself with his or her potentials than attacking one another's personalities."

Musah Ibn Wahid went further to add that 'if we want to critically outline some of the reasons why we loss in the 2012 and 2016 elections, we would realize that the personal att*cks and riv*lry between our parliamentary candidates was at it peak and after that they couldn't come together to help the one that won the primaries.'

Hence I'm pleading with the whole constituency to learn a big lesson from our previous mistakes.

We belong to the same party and would definitely work together after the constituency elections.

We need unity to achieve a common goal for the party.
