Letter From The President: Let there be quiet!

Countrymen and women, loyalists and opponents,
Jerry Boom’s vitriolic response to my allegation that he’s plotting a coup wasn’t unexpected, was it? I mean the man has got the right to defend himself against false, baseless, unsubstantiated allegations – especially if he’s being accused by a man (like my good self) who believes that every allegation should be backed with evidence. So I was not surprised that he called the press at his home and said all he wanted to say (in addition to a lot of stuff he needn’t have said).
Pardon me that I am writing about this same issue again. I don’t like to write two consecutive letters (however different they may be) about the same issue. But sometimes, I need to – especially in situations like this: when the issue assumes a life of its own and refuses to die a natural death.
