Mahama is now the choir master of akufo addo’s composed free education song.
After a thorough examination of the State of the Nation’s Address, CAF is apt to conclude that the prevailing economic challenges have rendered Mahama lost focus and direction and that wherever the wind blows, he becomes a victim to it.
Undoubtedly, Mahama has demonstrated to Ghanaians that Akufo Addo is a man of vision and a leader you can trust.
Prior to the 2008 and 2012 general elections, Nana saw the need to get education to the doorstep of every Ghanaian child. Nana was of the view that education is the engine of development and has the potential to change fortunes of a nation.
The Free Education policy was introduced by Kwame Nkrumah in the three Northern Regions of which Mahama was a product of it. Since then, no government, be it Military or Democratic, has been able to articulate this in the other regions.
Sometimes, it takes visionary leaders to put to fore messages as free education especially in an economy where fees in the Senior High Schools are beyond the reach of the ordinary Ghanaian.
Nana Akufo Addo demonstrated to the world and made the same pronouncement in BBC Hard Talk that free education is possible and that he has tabulated the cost of which the program was due to start in his first year of governance.
In all these, Mahama and his boys went across the length and breadth of this country doubting Akufo Addo and even called him names. The stone the builder man rejected has now become the chief corner stone
Mahama even opined that free education would be possible in 20 years time and that there are no structures to start the program.
Today, looking at the state of the economy how fragile it has become under John Mahama watch, corruption here corruption there, he feels threatened in the next elections and that wish to make amends as quick as possible by dubbing free education which was propounded by the prominent thinker, Nana Akufo Addo.
Today, MAHAMA IS NOW THE CHOIR MASTER OF AKUFO ADDO’S COMPOSED FREE EDUCATION SONG.
Honestly, Mahama has rather increased Akufo Addo’s credibility and added poisonous ammunition to knock him out come 2016 presidential elections
So to speak, if CAF were to council Mahama, we would rather edged him to focus on his promise of building 200 schools to save him of the little image left because he is seen by Ghanaians as a deceitful President
Long live Ghana!
Long live CAF!
