For example, calling Dr. Bawumia "Mr. Digital" is like saying a car mechanic is more important than the company that built the car. John Mahama built the foundation, while others only pressed a button to launch what he started. The digital transformation of Ghana did not happen overnight, and it certainly did not begin with Dr. Bawumia.

John Mahama's work also prepared the country for massive digital advancements in areas like healthcare, education, and governance. The e-government platforms, which allow people to apply for passports or business registrations online, were part of his broader vision for a modern Ghana. He believed in using technology to make services faster, cheaper, and more accessible to all Ghanaians. The distortion of facts for political gain is disappointing. It is important to recognize the true pioneers of progress. Former President Mahama had the foresight to build the systems that now benefit the entire country.

Ghanaians must remember who laid the groundwork and appreciate the leaders who have genuine plans for the country's future. As we look forward to the next elections, it is time to support a leader with a proven record of innovation and vision. Let’s choose someone who understands the bigger picture and has the experience to lead Ghana into a brighter, digital future.
