Mr. President; Good One There!!! “Wu Ye Buei!!!”

His Excellency the President has issued a stern directive demanding that his Ministers, and other Government appointees who have no direct bearing on happenings in South Africa, dare not jet off down south and we take off our hat for the President for this bold and sold directive.

Mr. President; bravo to you for such a bold and manly decision! It takes a person of great character to take such a bold decision and I congratulate His Excellency President Atta Mills for being firm. It is a shame that those who continue to examine the President through the virus infected lenses of, Daily Guide, Searchlight, and the pro-NPP media, think that President Atta Mills is a softie.

Two days ago, on Joy Midday news, I heard the anchor, Araba Koomson, conjecturing in a rather extremely uninformed manner and I laughed at the way she was sinking herself in an anti-Atta Mills quicksand.

Araba Koomson, in a rabidly pro-NPP diabolical manner, sought to create the impression that the President’s directive will be flouted since an earlier directive on punctuality is being flouted.

Asked to provide evidence, Ms. Koomson fluffed and floundered like a baby bird learning to fly.

The young lady had no evidence to back her assertion. Indeed, she only succeeded in stripping herself naked and exposing her ignorance.

For those of us who know the President for who he really is, we know that he is a steely person who cannot be taken for granted and cannot be toyed around with. If the likes of Araba Koomson think that the President is a softie, she should try convincing any Minister or Government official to flout the President’s directive and she will see how that Minister will become a matter of history as far as the Better Ghana agenda is concerned.

If what we hearing to the effect that the President has said on the quiet that anybody who flouts his directive should remain in South Africa and not return to Ghana, is anything to go by, then the Araba Koomsons of this world should get somebody to dare the President and they will get what they asked for. Of course, the dismissal of 6 appointees in 16 months should be a strong pointer to the fact that the President will not hesitate to SACK anybody who disobeys his directive.

Nana Biakoye is extremely happy about the President’s decision because it will free up space for ordinary Ghanaians to have the chance to be in South Africa. Instead of allowing Government appointees to take up the space available under the limited sponsorship package the state is providing, President Atta Mills, in line with his I CARE FOR YOU policy, is making sure that ordinary Ghanaians make it to South Africa.

After all, are the government appointees not already benefiting from numerous traveling opportunities?

So why should they hijack the South Africa trip as well?

If what we have picked up is anything to go by, had the President not issued the directive, he would have woken up to find that all his appointees are in South Africa having fun under the guise of supporting the Black Stars.

Information reaching Nana Biakoye from the Ministry of Sports and the National Sports Council paints a picture of Government appointees applying all manner of pressure in order to be part of the trip.

Given the chance, it is ipso facto that Government functionaries would have trooped to South Africa leaving the governance process on the back burner. The President has proven that he is really committed to his Better Ghana agenda and I am proud that I supported such a man to become President and still supporting him to succeed.

Honestly, I have not heard any dissenting voice as regards the President’s directive which is a strong sign that across the political divide, the President’s strong stance is very much appreciated.

Indeed, in a desperate attempt to create the impression that President Atta Mills’ directive is not a novelty, O.B. Amoah, on Oman FM yesterday morning, kept struggling to put out some information to the effect that in 2006, only the Sports Ministers and one other Minister were in Germany. Yeah right!!! Who in Ghana cannot recollect how NPP functionaries loaded themselves onto planes and flew with state resources with their concubines to go and have fun in Germany “waa waa waa” and have sex “fuka fuka”?

O.B. also said that the NPP Government ferried only 150 people to Germany. Absolute baloney!!!

O.B Amoah; haba!!! Give us a break with your lies!

Who does not remember the countless NPP serial callers, Appiah Stadium, KK, KB, Y2K, Ibrahim, Yahaya, Olive, and co, who went to Germany to go and have fun? Let O.B Amoah, go and tell his lies to his elephants and kangaroos and stop disturbing our eardrums.

Mr. President, I also congratulate you for the interview you granted The Daily Graphic on the subject of June 4th.

I have been very excited since I read in yesterday’s edition of The Daily Graphic that the President says that he holds on to the principles of June 4th on a daily basis.

Mr. President, I salute you sir!

I salute you because you have made it plain to Ghanaians that probity and accountability are core values that you hold on to strongly.

I am also happy that the President spoke to the Daily Graphic because he has made complete nonsense of the lying and evil agenda of Gina Blay and her rag-of-a-paper, Daily Guide.

The stupid story, with Bennet Akuaku’s byline, was meant to just knock heads together in the NDC.

What Gina Blay sought to do, was to create the impression that President Atta Mills is against June 4th, and to stir up anger against the President. What Gina Blay sought to do, was to make President Rawlings angry so that in Tamale, he will hit hard at President Atta Mills.

What Gina Blay and her paymasters are looking for, is a fight within the ranks of the NDC.

The NPP is currently in tatters and in flames so Gina Blay and co are trying hard to force a fight within the NDC. For the information of Gina Blay and her Daily Guide, their diabolical agenda has fallen into water.

President Atta Mills has spoken and has put Ginal Blay to shame. There is nobody in the NDC who does not believe in the ideals of June 4 and I am very happy that President Atta Mills has stated emphatically that he also holds on to the tenets of June 4 and that on a daily basis, he worships the twin principles of probity and accountability.

His Excellency President John Evans Atta Mills, we are proud of your World Cup directive as well as your position on June 4 and we are proud that we are solidly in your corner. President Atta Mills, wu ye buei!!!
