NPP Gurus Storm Otuam To Cause Confusion

By Margaret Jackson

August 2, 2012

The supposed anger by the Odomna family of Otuam, where President Mills hailed from is strongly being fueled by some leading members of the NPP who are trying to sow a seed of discord between the late president’s family and the government for political expediency.

Investigations have revealed that some NPP gurus who have family links in the Central Region secretly went to Otuam to commiserate with the family. They are Asamoah Boateng, Paapa Owusu Ankomah and KT Hammond.

Having presented some drinks and money, the three NPP leading members diabolically told the family members of President Mills why they have sat down and allowed the government to call all the shots on the funeral arrangements of the late president without their involvement. They even went far in asking them why they are allowing their royal to be buried in a ‘foreign’ land without their express approval.

This wicked act by the NPP is aimed at creating confusing around the funeral preparations of President Mills so as to prepare the grounds to blame and shame the NDC should something go wrong.

The many hurriedly arranged press conferences being organized by the family of the late President Mills from Otuam have all been arranged by Asamoah Boateng, KT Hammond and Owusu Ankomah.

Ghanaians very well know that the NPP orchestrated an organized plan right after President Mills was sworn into office in 2009 to run him down through daily insults, denigration and name calling which largely depressed President Mills and contributed towards his death.

Now that President Mills is dead, these same NPP people would not allow President Mills to be buried with dignity but are using every means to bring shame around his burial by working around the clock to cause confusion.

Ghanaians should stand up and condemn these diabolical acts by the NPP since they have realized that the outpouring of grief by Ghanaians following the death of President Mills might not work to their advantage in the December polls hence their decision to stunt the burial preparations.
