"NPP Invites People To Nana Addo’s Swearing-In"- says The Herald newspaper, edited by Larry Dogbey.
After reading the story, I could not help but LAUGH OUT LOUD!
The paper says "the invitation was issued on the social media platform “Facebook”. The source to this story is facebook. They did not speak to any officer of the party. And they were not intelligent enough to even quote a phantom “source within party who wants to remain anonymous…" as they usually lie.
The story goes on to say: "The creation of the internet site has led to reports that some individuals in the NPP have started calling Nana Addo as “His Excellency” and “Your Excellency” while addressing him in public in precedence of the outcome the December 7, 2012, polls"
I did not know NPP created facebook.com until I read this story.
Clearly the story and paper need some credibility oxygen. They lack credibility and integrity as newspaper.
The part that got me shocked was :
"This could have led to German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s obvious diplomatic blunder of having a meeting with Nana Addo, Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey, Shirley Ayorkor Botchway, Herbert Krapa and others in Berlin-Germany to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries."
At this point, I could not help but LAUGH OUT LOUDER out of SHOCK!!!!!
The paper is saying that, because a group of people are referring to an opposition leader as "His Excellency" or "Your Excellency", the Government of Germany mistook Ghana's President to be Nana Akufo Addo. Dont forget this is all supposed to be happening on facebook.
How shameful can any newspaper get?
I really do not know the objective of the story. Whether it is meant to embarrass the newspaper or the NDC Government which they have vowed to defend whether rain or shine.
These criminal and rented print press, they can do anything!
These are times you must agree with Martin Amidu, The Citizen Vigilante.
The story is a pure fabrication and a figment of the editor's imagination.
Nana Akufo Addo and the NPP will wait for Ghanaians to make us the next government by January 7, 2013 . With God's guidance, I do not see the NPP losing this year's elections.
I LOVE GHANA.
