• Politics is . “the art or science of government or governing, especially the governing of a political entity, “
• Political parties vie for power I believe to govern so they can use the power to better the conditions of living of all citizens of the country That is solving the myriad of problems that face the country. The late President Mills made it his campaign slogan “ A better Ghana” .
•
• To achieve this we need to harness our resources especially the human resources. Having gold buried in the rocks in your country does not necessarily translate into wealth. You need to apply enterprise, capital and labor to create wealth . Similarly lush forest and timber all need these factors to create wealth. I have been to Congo which has more resources than Ghana but has a lower per capita income and our neighbors Nigeria. On the other hand we have a country like Israel that is literally a dessert but has farms that feed its citizens and its per capita income is higher than that of Ghana . We have seen how Malaysia , China, Singapore have all developed in the past few years and how India and Brazil are moving forward. I have written about the Chinese now being the country with the second highest GDP in the world coming from nowhere in 1948. I have also written about the Soviet Union which was also a peasant nation because of feudalist practices in pre 1917 to be in space by 1957 when Uri Gagarin a Russian astronaut went into space before anyone did .In all of these they harnessed their HUMAN RESOURCES

• So I ask , how does the NPP want to sort out Ghana’s under development ?We hear of the NPP proposing a free SHS and industrializing the country. Good proposals indeed but the irony is implementation and consistency . Anytime we remind the country about Nkrumah’s policies and how the forbears of the NPP killed these various programs, they shout about Nkrumah being a dictator. The question that comes into my mind is, did the assassination attempts form part of the rule of law or good governance? Did the bombs killing school kids form part of the good governance. We were the school kids that were being bombed at that time , so we were also dictators? . Why were we targeted for death and being maimed? Are statements like “ all die be die” and kill the Gas, Kill the Ewes part of good governance? Is marching to the BNI office to forcibly free some one being investigated for a crime part of good governance? To my mind the NPP is part of the problem , not part of the solution.. So where do these actions and utterances lead us? Good governance or anarchy ?
• Anarchy is a chaotic situation: a situation in which there is a total lack of organization or control or lack of government: the absence of any formal system of government in a society
So the question is what would they want, security in the country or chaos and anarchy? Of course we see it in how before the NDC government came in 2009 the former Gold Coast , now Ghana became “ cocaine coast’ . Then we had armed robbers ruling the country. We have judgment debts today because we just cancelled or abrogated contracts or practiced “ yentua” principle.
These are people who have no decorum whatsoever. They now cry about Nana not being shown on TV at Mills funeral. The man detested Mills and could not attend Independence day celebrations .Will Nana Addo now begin to observe Ghana’s independence only after being elected or will we need to delete it from the calendar? . He did not want to be seen with him as that was one of the few occasions they would have had to be together They jeered Mills in parliament and disrespected him at every twist and turn . They gave him more labels than anyone cared to imagine , “ ecomini” , “when you elect a stupid president” , Mr go slow’,
Which African leader was not like Nkrumah or worse? Houghet Boigny, Eyadema, Idi Amin, Tubman, . In fact Nkrumah was more like Nyerere, K Kaunda, Sekou Toure, these were benevolent “dictators” who worked fro the up liftment of the people as they were listening to the grass roots of the people
So how does articles like the one below raise us to work towards being like Malaysia, or Singapore ,creating jobs increasing the per capita income, eradicating the filth in our cities, ensuring we are well fed , getting us educated , planning our cities and adding values to our raw materials ? How do these help to revive the 400 odd factories the forbears of the NPP closed down? How does this help to reduce the huge housing deficit the country faces? How does it remove the Zongo syndrome? How does it solve the Sodom & Gomorrahs we have littered all over our landscape? How does this unblock our blocked gutters filled with filth? Is this what education is aimed at . Is this not creating another problem similar to Boka haram?

• Mills, The Last Ewe King: Farewell “TRIBALISM”
“We should, all ethnic groups, ask why all the officials around Mills were Ewes. This ethnocentric policy should never occur again in the future. We should ask who appointed all the Ewes who entombed Mills. I know that people like the benighted,“Terribly Specific” and “KOLA OF LONDON” would scream their usual clueless one-liners of well the NPP did it! Here are four simplified answers to their
partisan question: (1) I was not writing when the NPP was in power; (2) the fact
that the NPP engaged in “tribalism” does not mean that we must recycle that policy forever; (3) democracy is a dynamic process and it is only successful when we recognize bad policies and don’t repeat them; (4) and I will hold the present Mahama regime and future governments, no matter their political persuasion, to the same standards of inclusion and excellence. She goes on to publish 31 names of ewes in elevated positions in government .
By golly here is a PHD holder not writing about how we can produce tooth picks and turkey tail and create jobs but trying to create anarchy . She wants to be in government and is not trying to collate ideas on how to improve our education to be more creative but educating people with HATE
• We have another, Okoampa who also spews the same hatred thrash . He has written to date 27 mocking tributes to his “Tarkwa Uncle Mills” . I am trying to figure out how they came to be related . Why he cannot put his time to more profitable pursuits as that is the philosophy of Free enterprise, PROFITABILITY .But then they all want to fight for the few government jobs that are there and when they fail blame it on tribalism . What about practicing what you preach? Create jobs for yourselves and others. That is how the economy or is it “ecomini” grows
•
• Then we have articles about the Ashante Project that accused the late President of attempting to discriminate against Asantefo. From hind sight these tribalists within the NPP want apartheid. Apartheid was. an official policy of racial segregation formerly practiced in the Republic of South Africa, involving political, legal, and economic discrimination. They want a special(Royal) class of citizenship for some sections of the population and the rest should be second grade debarring them from occupying certain elevated positions. And thereby reducing them to a servant class of hewers of wood and drawers of water .That to them is democracy. Hey but do they know that since 1994 the Blacks in South Africa vote, blacks in USA vote, and occupy elevated positions. Women could not , but now they do .
•
• In this election I call on all well meaning and peace loving Ghanaians to make the NPP an irrelevant force in Ghanaian politics. Let us eschew violence and discrimination . The choice should be either CPP or NDC
• President Mahama has this to say of the late Mills
“He is, indeed, a father for all. I am in no doubt that the unifier and the man of peace that our late president was in passing on to glory will be a catalyst for our country to consolidate the peace and forge ahead in unity. His legacy will live long into eternity.”
The time has come for African Unity and we should not let divisive organizations turn the clock of progress backwards. Always ask “ where is Ghana Airways and its assets”?
