Nana Akufo-Addo Is Not Fit To Be President Of Ghana

Fellow Ghanaians and lovers of Ghana, I appreciate your reading this article which is very much in the interest of Mother Ghana.

I am writing this article for one reason; to state in unequivocal terms that it is as clear as daylight that Nana Akufo-Addo, Flagbearer of the Narcotics Peddlers Party (NPP), is not fit to be President of Kwame Nkrumah’s Ghana.
Ladies and Gentlemen, you will recall that in the run up to the 2008 elections, there were lots of stories and strong allegations that did the rounds as regards Nana Akufo-Addo being addicted to alcohol and some illegal substances.
Indeed, while the NPP was fighting its internal war to elect a flagbearer from amongst the 17 pretenders, lots of txt messages flew around, alleging that Akufo-Addo is addicted to drugs.

Lots of the txt messages also alleged that Akufo-Addo is a man of extremely low moral standing and that such a person was not fit to lead the NPP and by extension, not fit to lead Ghana.
On a daily basis, txt messages from within the NPP told story after story of Akufo-Addo and his alleged addiction to drugs.
In some of the txt messages, Ghanaians were told of how Akufo-Addo, as Attorney General and Minister for Justice, de-confiscated the seized assets of a known international drug baron, Raymond Amankwah, who is a brother-in-law of Akufo-Addo.
Indeed, Akufo-Addo was not the only person linked to drugs; some of his strong aides such as Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko, Kofi Dokyi Apeatu Ampaw (aka Kofi 1234) and Ursula Owusu, were also linked to drugs.
Some of the txt messages also said that Akufo-Addo spent all his time at Legon sleeping with anything in skirt; including groundnut and banana sellers, and ended up getting a bad third class in Economics before going to England to go and supposedly study law.
Some of the txt messages also had it that if Akufo-Addo is given the chance to lead Ghana, Ghana will be handed over to drug barons.
This was the NPP talking ooo; it was not me Nana Biakoye.
For sure; people within the narcotics peddlers party know Akufo-Addo better than the rest of us do and so they knew what they were talking about.
Well, If Ghanaians were looking for strong evidence to believe that Akufo-Addo is not a focused person and therefore cannot be President of Kwame Nkrumah’s Ghana, the evidence is now available.
It is now a matter of public knowledge that one of Akufo-Addo’s daughters, Mary Fummy Gyankroma Akufo-Addo, is a drunk and a junkie.
The 31 year old daughter of the man who wants to be President of Ghana, is a complete drunk and junkie who spends lots of her time in night clubs, gets highly intoxicated, and drives around at ungodly hours under the heavy influence of alcohol.
On the 21st of August this year, the said Mary Fummy Gyankroma Akufo-Addo, at about 5.30am, under the heavy influence of alcohol, drove into the vehicle of Mr. Paa Kwesi Amissah Arthur, Governor of the Bank of Ghana.
She attempted to run away but was busted and sent to the Cantonments Police Station where her statement was taken.
Realizing that the young lady was toasted (apologies to Kofi Wayo who said that Jake gets “toasted”, and refers to Kufuor as an Ashanti bastard – leading to Jake being removed as Chief of Staff) beyond acceptable limits, she was sent to the Nima MTTU where the alcohol level in her blood stream was measured.
Instead of the acceptable limit of 0.08%, Mary Fummy Gyankroma Akufo-Addo’s alcohol level was 0.66%; which is way above the acceptable limit.
Indeed, Fummy (Akufo-Addo’s daughter in whom he is well pleased), was about 500% above the acceptable alcohol limit. Lord have mercy!!!
Per the rules, the police charged Akufo-Addo’s daughter on two counts of (1), Careless and Inconsiderate Driving, (2), Criminal Offence of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.
Ms. Akufo-Addo pleaded guilty on all counts and was fined.
Fellow Ghanaians, I ask; should we hand over Ghana to a man who cannot give his daughters any proper upbringing?
Akufo-Addo has four daughters from three different women, and if he cannot manage the upbringing of only four daughters, how on earth can we entrust the destiny of Ghana’s youth into his hands?
When he was campaigning in 2008 to become President, instead of organizing educative interactive programmes for the youth of Ghana, Akufo-Addo preferred to organize a beach party at La Pleasure Beach; where lots of young men and women got drunk, smoked wee, sniffed cocaine, and had indiscriminate and unprotected sex.
Those who had the presence of mind, used condoms as the beach was littered with condoms the morning after the event.
As President, is this the kind of youth policy that Akufo-Addo will pursue? God forbid!!!
While President Atta Mills has spent decades imparting knowledge to scores of young men and women who have become responsible adults (of course, some have chosen to be members of the narcotics peddlers party), Akufo-Addo teaches kids how to do all kinds of immoral things at beach parties.
The future of Ghana belongs to the youth and if we have a President who will allow the youth to become drunkards and junkies, where lies the future of Ghana?
It is also a matter of fact that Akufo-Addo’s law chambers is in the forefront of defending almost all the drug barons in Ghana.
Are we prepared to have a President whose law chambers specializes in defending drug barons? Is that the kind of President Ghanaians want? Hell no!!!
It is shocking and amazing the manner in which a large section of the electronic media has deliberately turned a blind eye to Akufo-Addo’s inability to give his daughters any proper upbringing resulting in their waywardness and deviant behavior.
I shudder to imagine the way the media would have salivated and gleefully paid 100% attention to the issue were it the son of President Atta Mills who had done what Akufo-Addo’s daughter has done.
Fellow Ghanaians, would I be wrong in saying that a large section of the Ghanaian media is not doing Ghanaians any favour by being one-sided in its work?
It is becoming obvious that when it has to do with President Atta Mills or any functionary of the NDC, some media houses scream to the high heavens.
But when it has to do with John Agyekum Kufuor, Akufo-Addo and the NPP, the said media houses play deaf and dumb.
I ask; are these media houses being true to their calling and conscience?
Or is it the case that they listen to their stomachs and pockets and not their conscience?
Ghana is the only place we can call home and it is important that we collectively protect the sanctity and integrity of our Motherland.
Let us make Ghana a better place for our children and children’s children and stop thinking about only what we can eat and drink today.
Fellow Ghanaians, I ask; if you spend years looking for a child and God gives you one, if you have to travel without the child would you leave the child in the care of Atta Mills or in the care of Akufo-Addo?
I leave you to reflect deeply on this question because we are talking about the destiny and future of Mother Ghana and it is important that we do not hand over our beloved Motherland to a person who will kill our future and destroy our destiny.
Fellow Ghanaians, my brother and sisters, in short, what I am saying is that, Nana Akufo-Addo, flagbearer of the NPP, has given us enough reason to believe that he has been and irresponsible father and I am on my knees begging Ghanaians to make sure we don’t allow Akufo-Addo to be given the mandate for him to move Ghana forward in the wrong and unacceptable direction.
I thank you for your attention and may God continue to bless our homeland Ghana and make us greater and stronger.
Nana Biakoye
