Dear Mr Sole Commissioner,
My attention has been drawn to your expressions and views on the ongoing drillship saga. When Mr Tsatsu Tsikata appeared before your Commission, you treated him with kid’s gloves unlike how you bullied Ken Dapaah and K. T. Hammond.
Your questions to Tsatsu Tsikata were in the eyes of many a Ghanaian, especially those abroad, very partisan and irresponsible. Instead of asking him responsible questions pertaining to the sale of the ship, why and how it was sold, how much money was obtained and how the money was used and if indeed, GNPC was indebted to a foreign company as claimed, that was not the case. You rather said, “they said this, they said that (referring to what T.K. Hammond and Ken Dapaah had said), and what do you say about that?
Do you see any sense in how you conducted yourself while Tsatsu Tsikata presented himself before you? Are you also suffering from the “Compulsive kowtowing to Tsikata inferiority complex” syndrome as suffered by Justice Atuguba during the Election 2012 petition hearing?
Whenever Tsatsu stood up to talk during the Election 2012 petition hearing, Justice Atuguba would be smiling as though he has lost his mind, kowtowing and stooping too low to him probably out of being inferior to him and being partisan in favour of the NDC.
As Julius Caesar turned to Brutus and asked, ”Et tu Brute”, ( And you Brutus) when Brutus was among those stabbing him to death, although a trusted friend of his, so do I ask Appeal Court Justice Apau, “Et tu” suffering from that shameful syndrome as indicated above?
You are not being fair. Most Ghanaians abroad do not trust you for exhibiting such partisan behaviour. I hope you are not in league with that brigade of “create, loot and share” actively and dubiously operating in Ghana to set the clock of socio-politico-economic progress many years back.
I hope you are not trying to divert Ghanaians’ attention from the collusive gargantuan judgment debt payments e.g. GHC51.2Million to one Alfred Agbesi Woyome, the Ghanaian swindler of the century, for which, your Commission was set up by being overly concerned about the drillship melee.
Discerning Ghanaians are watching how you perform, Mr Sole Commissioner so please take note.
Sincerely yours,
Rockson Adofo
