Politics: our pre-occupation in Ghana

Ghanaians - from the grassroots to the central places where decisions are taken have all engaged in what might be referred to a "RAT RACE". Sometimes I wonder whether we know who we are, who we were and who we want to be. The politics of today in Ghana has engulfed the serious problems that we have as a nation. What do we really gain by digging so much into issues of people. The problem (s) that we are creating now will be used against us by the international community. We are fond of labeling our people as this or that and when they finally become our leaders and people try to quote us we think they are insulting us. We should all remember that if we call our people GOATS and they finally become our leaders, then we should not be offended if we are called goats.

The sickness of most Ghanaians is how to appreciate others, we like to sit on the fence, find faults and condemn - What a shame. Let us give credit and respect where it is due.
