I sometimes find it hard to believe that John Mills is a Professor of Law and for that matter, an academician and more importantly a former university lecturer. Is it also true that John Mills was once a vice president of the Republic of Ghana for 4 years and a tax administrator? Does he really believe in himself as a man and also as the president of Ghana? I think we need more of the primary school kid from the Atwima District of Ashanti Region to tell us who the president of Ghana is in order to save Ghanaians from the shame, mess and insecurity we unfortunately find ourselves in today.
When John Mills assumed the reigns of governance in 2009, I became so sad that I had no option than to pray to God to perform some miracles in order to ensure that the year 2012 comes quicker than expected before Mills and his Notorious Dirty Criminals (NDC) destroy the country beyond repairs. For me, I did not hesitate to warn my daughter and instruct her to write or say “Not Applicable” to any question that would seek to find the name of the president. Yes, I expected my daughter to write “Not Applicable” until 2012 even if the “Not Applicable” answer would make her repeat in the class because I am not convinced that John Mills is the type of political leader mother Ghana needs to solve the myriad of problems confronting the country.
Even in my dreams I still hold the view that the Ghanaian voter made an unpardonable mistake in the 2008 general elections by voting these evildoers into power. Led by John Mills; a man who could not even take responsibility of his only son borne out of wedlock, one wonders why over 23 million Ghanaians could gamble by entrusting their destiny into his hands? Is he not the man who lives, dines and sleeps with dogs instead of human beings? Well, I hope his wife, Naadu Mills could enlighten Ghanaians as regards how they have nurtured 4 dogs in their house.
It is no more a secret that John Mills is a big failure. If anybody doubts this truth, I direct the person to listen and read more from the founder of the NDC – J.J. Rawlings, Spio Garbrah as well as Dr. Sekou Nkrumah, staunch members of the NDC. Although J.J. Rawlings has done over 80% of the campaign for the NPP by his declaration that; “he would have no message for the Ghanaian voter” as far as the general elections are concerned, what I find disagreeable is the assertion by Dr. Sekou Nkrumah that Prez Mills is only fit for the lecture room and not at the presidency. Personally, I don’t think John Mills is even fit for a family head let alone the lecture room looking at the hardship Ghanaians have gone through within the last 2 years.
Indeed, Ghanaians know two basic facts about John Mills; that he is a tax collector and that he is interested in dog management. Based on this fact, I find it necessary to suggest an appropriate portfolio for him. I humbly suggest that a substantial part of the oil revenue be used to construct more KVIPs across the length and breadth of the country and as a tax expert, I can vouch that Mills wouldn’t disappoint us if he is appointed a “Toilet Minister”. However, if he was found to be under-performing as a Team B captain in this lucrative portfolio, we could consider the renovation of Ghana’s Zoological gardens, especially those in Accra and Kumasi, for him to be assigned a “Minister of Dog Affairs” due to his track record in dog management.
Recently, John Mills was in Bolgatanga and posed a question to the noble people of the area whether they saw anything under the NPP administration. But Mr. President, you don’t need the people of Bolgatanga to answer this question, do you? Anyway, I don’t blame him for asking such a kindergarten question due to his poor eye sight. But I, Katakyie, can assure the president that any right-minded Ghanaian whose five senses, in addition to his common sense works perfectly, could not only see, but also feel, hear, smell, judge and touch the impressive socio-economic and political record of the NPP, under His Excellency, John Agyekum Kufuor in the last 8 years.
I have many a times heard the president on the mass media about his determination to continue all major projects and programmes instituted by the NPP administration. He always talks about expanding the National Youth Employment Programme (NYEP), the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), the Capitation Grant, the Mass Transit, the mass spraying, free maternal care, the Bui Dam and City project, the railway lines, road network and more importantly, the oil find. When did the president hear about all the afore-mentioned programmes and projects – the last 8 or 20 years?
You see how hypocritical the president is. He promised heaven to Ghanaians but he is now delivering hell for us. The one-time premium, putting money in our pockets, drastic reduction of fuel prices, job creation, lower taxes, clamping down on corruption, better security, clean environment, cutting down profligate spending, tolerance of opposing views etc are now missing from Mills’ political dictionary. Mills, together with his mediocre team has resorted to politics of insults and blame game. Everything good is NDC making. Anything bad is NPP making. For instance, single digit inflation in November; who made this possible? NDC. But when Mills claimed the ‘ecomini’ was ‘broke’, he blame the NPP. Talk about the problems with the Population and Housing Census, the National Identification Programme, the Tema Oil Refinery, the Ghana International Airlines, SHS infrastructure, STX Korea deal, the District Assembly elections, power outages, water supply, payment of bonuses to national team players, Single Spine Salary Structure, Hajj organisation, management of NHIS, NYEP & SFP, schools under trees and they are all NPP making.
Even shortage of fuel, fire outbreaks, motor accidents, the unfortunate murders of Ya-Na and Issah Mobilla, serial killing of women have all been attributed to the NPP. Furthermore, the NDC childishly claims the NPP is behind all the strikes in the country – UTAG, POTAG, NAGRAT, GNAT, TEWU, Nurses and Midwives, Prison Officers and Medical Practioners.
Now just ask any member of the NDC about who is behind the upsurge of armed robbery in the country and this bunch of greedy bastards will not hesitate to mention one name – NPP. Let them lose any high profile court case and you will hear them vow to kill the cat. Who is behind Amina’s saga? Oh! It is NPP. News such as Atta Mills is sick; Atta Mills is ‘dead’ have all been attributed to the NPP. What about politics of insults and display of Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings’ posters? Oh! But that is NPP. However, if you ask the NDC which political party discovered the oil in commercial quantities and they will tell you it is God-given. So you see the kind of people we are dealing with. “Koto de3 nebo dw3 ...”If this unnecessary accusation does not stop, there will a time when the NPP would be blamed for Atta Mills’ inability to make babies with his wife or even accused of neglecting his own son.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is the extent to which the so-called “Asomdwe3 hene” has ridiculed and belittled himself on the political field. No wonder he has been given such accolades as; Prof. Swedru Declaration, Prof. Poodle, Prof. Collaterization, Prof. Ecomini, Prof. Omama, Prof. Opepepeepee, Prof. Ofumtoo, Prof. Go Slow, Prof. Atta Mortuaryman, Prof. Do-Little, Prof. Do-Nothing, Prof. No Action Plan, Prof. Lame Duck, Prof. Lousy, Prof. Lack of Control, Prof. Kill the cat, Prof. Atta Adaadaay3n, Prof. Reduce fuel prices drastically, Prof. Increase Road Tolls, Prof. STX, Prof. Lose Court Cases, Prof. T.B. Joshua, Prof. M&J Scandal, Prof. See no evil, Prof. Hear no evil, Prof. I Care for the NDC, Prof. Father for NDC, Prof. Born dogs and Prof. Tea Cups. We need more of the T-shirts made by the NPP youth with some of the afore-mentioned inscriptions after all this ‘lame duck’ president thought it wise to distribute tea cups to school kids to make him ‘popular’.
In conclusion, I would urge Ghanaians to take the 2012 general as a turning point in their lives and make sure that the NDC is voted out of power. Indeed, we have seen what the Doctors, the Generals, Misters, the Flt. Lieutenants and now the Professors have done and can do for mother Ghana. It is the turn of the oldest title “NANA”. Fortunately, Atta “Mess” would be serving his 8 years in office by 2012 as he has already served his 4 years in the slave castle as a vice president (1996-2000). He also happens to be a school mate of Nana Akuffo-Addo – the NPP flag-bearer. When Nana Addo promised to make secondary education free, John Mills promised to provide free school uniforms to all public basic schools, a promise which remains unfulfilled after 23 months in office. The kids have only been given tea cups probably to learn how to drink “tea mpampa” when they find themselves in Mills’ transition team in future so can’t we try Nana Addo and see what he has for us? “Mpanin se, woko dwa mmienu a na wohunu de3 da”.
God bless Ghana! God bless the NPP!! God bless Kufuor!!!
