Rallying support for Dr. Bawumia, the bigger brain

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia

I am writing this publication to make a special appeal to all my Facebook followers and those Ghanaians who enjoy reading my published articles to join me in canvassing for votes for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia of the NPP in the 2024 election.

He is an innovator, a great thinker, a visionary, and by far the bigger brain that thinks big and best in the interest of Ghana than his opponent, Mr. John Dramani Mahama of the NDC. This is a fact that even the unborn children can attest to, let alone you, those born and still living.

Instead of John Dramani Mahama coming out with the policies and programs he plans to implement if voted to become the president of Ghana in the upcoming December 7, 2024, general election, he is only insulting, vituperatively attacking, and lying about Dr. Bawumia and the NPP.

Will his destructive criticisms of his opponents without offering alternative solutions make him a better president to make Ghana better? No, I should think so.

Destructive criticisms for their sake will not add even one percent to the development of Ghana but rather retard the country’s socio-economic advancement.

No wonder Ghana lags light years in development behind South Korea and other South Asian countries with whom she had her independence in the same year or around the same period.

In those countries, the types of destructive criticism, deliberate sabotage, and malicious “pull him down” of political rivals that are rife and obvious in Ghana do not exist, hence their lightning economic advancement over Ghana. While they have become economic giants, Ghana, with all her exceedingly natural resources—forests, gold, diamonds, petroleum deposits, manganese, etc.—has become an economic dwarf all because of official corruption and the shallow-mindedness of the politicians who come to power to be served instead of served.

As I always say by quoting the ancient Greek philosopher Aristotle, who taught, “Trying to achieve moral virtue is not easy; if you must pick between two extremes, choose “the lesser of two evils,” because that’s likelier to bring you to the desired middle way.”.

Therefore, I shall plead with fellow Ghanaians to choose the more innovative, visionary, dedicated, dynamic, and dynamic person who thinks big in the interest of Ghana between Dr. Bawumia and Mr. John Dramani Mahama to be voted to become the next president of Ghana when President Nana Akufo-Addo exits the presidency on January 7, 2025.

If Ghanaians were to be honest with themselves, they would know that the choice is clearly none other than Dr. Bawumia. He is the lesser evil between Mr. John Mahama and Dr. Bawumia.

Mr. Mahama, who cannot comprehensively explain his intended populist policies and programs he is bandying about, e.g., the 24-hour economy and using artificial intelligence (AI) to fight the devastating illegal small-scale and alluvial mining, just to mention a few, is not worth a million times more to become the president of Ghana again.

If it were during the tenure of Mr John Dramani Mahama as president of Ghana from 2012 to 2016 that the Covid-19 pandemic and the Russia-Ukraine war broke out, Ghanaians would have suffered more than we are currently witnessing under President Nana Akufo-Addo. He would not have found the mouth of the sack in which to put the calabash, as an Akan saying goes. "Nhunu kotokuo a wɔnfa koraa nhye mu”

Fellow Ghanaians, please don’t buy into the many lies by the NDC to deceive yourselves into voting for them. However, bear with the mocked “driver’s mate” to come to take full control of the passenger bus and you will see how better he will drive it to the destination to the joy of all and sundry.

The proud and audacious son of Kumawu/Asiampa soil is pleading with you to vote for Dr. Bawumia in your numbers, all ye Ghanaian electorates.

I invite most, if not all, Kumawu and Asiampa compatriots to join me in my electioneering campaign to get Dr. Bawumia elected president of Ghana.
