Remove "God?s" name from Ghana Constitution if....

Remove this name “GOD” from the constitution if possible. It is an insult and blasphemous to use God?s name as a promise of goodwill and good governance in the Constitution whiles some of His people are still suffering?. The misuse of this Name has therefore become a “CURSE” on Ghanaians today. Therefore shall the people of Ghana seek for „Justice“ and there shall be no „Justice“. Surely the arm of God is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear the cry of his people in Ghana. But the iniquities of their forefathers who wrote the first Constitution using “GOD?s” name supposed to be the Law and Statutes of Ghanaians have separated them from their God. Their sins have hidden His face from them so that He will not hear.

What is Justice if you deliberately deprive human beings from their basic Freedom and Social Justice and at the same time swearing to God? Ghanaians are said to be people who honour God with their lips, but their heart are far away from Him. They worship God in vain. They use God?s name as a cover-up in all their evil deeds and are now lazy like lazy cocoons. They are now a prey for false Pastors, Malams and so-called Allhagy?s because they believe in Lies. They sit and sleep and expect God to ascend and clean their backyards and create industries and farm for them. They call Him all sorts of names like “GOD” or ALLAH” in vain, and this is the reason why this “Curse” is upon us. How can you develop and deny His Power and Health?. How can you “Swear in the name of Almighty God” and telling “LIES” to your people?. Is it not a blasphemy?

To demonstrate the anger of this writer, just look at what our forefathers wrote in Ghana’s Constitution which says:

THE CONSTITUTION OF THE REPUBLIC OF GHANA IN THE NAME OF THE ALMIGHTY GOD;

Which states: “We the People of Ghana, IN EXECISE of our natural and inalienable right to establish a framework of government which shall secure for ourselves and posterity the blessings of liberty, equality of opportunity and prosperity;

IN A SPIRIT of friendship and peace with all peoples of the world;

AND IN SOLEMN declaration and affirmation of our commitment to; Freedom, Justice, Probity and Accountability;

The Principle that all powers of Government springs from the Sovereign Will of the People;

The Principle of Universal Adult Suffrage;

The Rule of Law;

The protection and preservation of Fundamental Human Rights and Freedom, Unity and Stability for our Nation;

DO HEREBY ADOPT, ENACT AND GIVE TO OURSELVES THIS CONSTITUTION”.

This was the pledge of our forefathers by swearing the oath of allegiance to “GOD” to deliver us from political bondage and that we may have Freedom, Unity, Justice and Accountability, in our country.

This is a clear testimony that our leaders have just sworn this Constitution just to blackmail us by using the name “Almighty God” in this book.

What we see today in Ghana is a true manifestation that, “These people honour God with their lips, but their heart are far from him”. Today for love of “Money and Power”, even Pastors are telling us lies, our leaders have turned away from the commandments and promises they stated in their own Constitution. For their iniquities, their hands are stained with blood and their fingers with quilt. Our leaders who wrote the Constitution have spoken lies, and their tongue mutters wicked things. No one calls for Justices; no one pleads his case with integrity. They rely on empty arguments and speak lies; they conceive trouble and give birth to evil. This we can all recollect from the coming of Rawlings and his words. He hatched the eggs of vipers and spinned a spiders?s web in which he and his disgruntled followers now find themselves today. Their cobwebs are useless for clothing; they cannot cover themselves with what they make. They are awaiting for trial.

Our leaders deeds are evil deeds, and acts of violence are in their hands because they have turned away from righteousness, the promises and from the believe in God. The rich are getting richer. The “wealth” created by elements of this class fraction is identified by such indicators as the number of spouses, concubines and children possessed, the types and number of cars and houses owned and so forth. They can afford to educate their children at all levels. Their children become “Elite” and can enjoy all sorts of lives at the expense of the poor Ghanaian. They don?t even have to speak their own mother language because it is found to inferior. They live in better houses and better environments in the big cities and look down on their fellow Ghanaians they promised with the oath of “God”.

They said “We swear to the Almighty GOD” that we shall deliver. Our leaders talk about: “Declaration and affirmation of our commitment to; Freedom, Justice, Probity and Accountability”, yet the poor Ghanaian villager is left out and deprived of basic education, left to live in mud houses, no heath insurance, no infrastructure, no pension gratuity etc. We are left with nothing but poverty. This is what our leaders call “Justice” by swearing to “GOD or ALLAH” to justify Freedom, Justice, Probity and Accountability.

They are Liars, wicked and irresponsible leaders. For this reason, the name “GOD” should be removed from such Constitution. We don?t need that name in the Constitution. Ghanaians should decide which way they want to go without necessarily using the name of God in such a nations Constitution. “God is not a Liar and we should not lie to ourselves. Don?t use His name in this “DIRTY” game, we are cursing ourselves if we continue to do so. Thou shall not “Swear” in vain, and whosoever shall swear to God should be taking seriously. Can we take our leaders who sworn to God serious?. No, we cannot, because they are Liars in nature.

My fellow countrymen, there is no man on this earth who is a “LIAR” can lead God?s people in Ghana unless of cause Ghanaians themselves are happy to be ruled by such corrupt and irresponsible people because they are corrupt themselves. My fellow countrymen, let?s think about this. Our future is questionable. Let us seek for repentance. Thank you for listening and God bless Ghana. I wish you all the best of life and a Happy New Year.
