Spio Is His Own Enemy!!!

It is very laughable indeed when Spio Garbrah struts around like a peacock creating the impression that he has enemies within the NDC.

Spio Garbrah has no enemies; he is his own enemy! Yes, Spio is his own enemy. When a man decides that all he will do, is to downplay the importance of every human being and consistently pan himself out as the best thing that has happened to creation, surely, he will be his own enemy.

I have been listening to Spio Garbrah long before the 2006 contest to elect a flagbearer for the NDC, and every word that falls from the lips of Spio, has to do with playing up his credentials and creating the impression that he is the best brain in the world.

I actually remember how Spio, desperate to match up to Professor Mills, said that he used to be first in his class when he was in primary school.

You are vying for the leadership of a political party, and you are using your class one exams results to sell yourself? Vanity! Vanity! Vanity! At his fiasco-of-a-press conference two days ago, Spio started off by reading a passage from the bible.

In reading a passage from the bible, Spio must have thought that he will win some sympathy; at the end of the day, Spio went on an ego trip when he likened himself to Joseph.

Spio thinks that he is a Joseph who is hated by his other brothers. In the case of the biblical Joseph, he was interpreting dreams; in the case of Spio, what dream has he interpreted?

When Joseph was interpreting dreams to his father and brothers, did he insult them?

Spio unwisely decides to insult President Mills and his so-called Team B appointees and when he gets what he deserves, he says that he is a Joseph who is being haunted by his brothers.

Obviously, what angered the brothers of Joseph, was the fact that he said that his brothers will one day bow at his feet.

Is Spio Garbrah telling President Atta Mills and the NDC that one day the party will bow at his feet?

If that is the case, then Spio is the one who is making an enemy of himself. If Spio thinks that the NDC needs him more than he needs the NDC, then Spio is the one who is creating problems for himself.

According to Spio, those who took him on for his insulting article, have a problem understanding the English language.

According to Spio (in his typical egoistic mode), at age 19, he taught English language at Adisadel College and so knows how lots of people have low IQ’s and so find it difficult to understand simple English.

As far as Spio is concerned, those who took issue with him over his insulting Team B and “Feigned Loyalty” article, are idiots who do not have the capacity to comprehend the kind of “high quality” English that he writes.

If Spio is such a master of the English language, then he must have been very conscious of his choice of words and therefore cannot run away from the fact that he insulted President Mills by saying that the President has appointed Team B players and he cannot run away from the fact he insulted the appointees by referring to them as Team B players.

What Spio sought to achieve via that insulting article, was to create the impression that President Mills has not got the brains to govern and that is why he has appointed “idiots” to make up the Team B.

As far as Spio is concerned, the likes of Dr. Kwabena Dufuor (who worked for his PhD), General Smith, Dr. Ben Kumbuor (who worked for his PhD), Mike Hammah, Joseph Yileh Chireh, Cletus Avoka, Betty Mould Iddrisu, Dr. Oteng Adjei (who worked for his PhD) etc., are the “idiots” who are part of President Mills’ Team B.

God forgive Ekow Spio Garbrah.

And it is interesting the way Spio and his handful of paid followers think that it is ok for Spio to insult President Mills and his appointees but is not ok for others to tell Spio in the face that he is not best thing to happen Ghana and the human race.

It was interesting listening to Spio (realizing belatedly that his Team B reference was insulting to all President Mills’ appointees) struggle to give a different meaning to his use of the Team B phrase.

Spio is Team A yet he cannot work for his PhD.

Dr. Dufuor, Dr. Yaw Akoto, Dr. Kwame Ampofo, Dr. Oteng Adjei, Dr. Kwabena Donkor, Dr. Tony Aidoo, Dr. Christine Amuako-Nuamah and co, they are all in the Team B yet they worked hard and earned their PhD’s through serious academic work.

On the issue of not getting his PhD via classroom work, Spio admitted that his Dr title is an honorary one.

Spio however said that he could have gotten an academic PhD if he wanted to but turned down so many offers and that we should ask his classmates whether he would not have finished his PhD in record time.

That is Spio for you; he does not have a PhD but he says that he would have finished one in record time.

Since Spio is such a genius, and nothing is late when life is long, nothing is stopping Spio from getting an academic PhD in record time and locking the mouth of his so-called enemies.

If Spio is downplaying the importance of a PhD acquired through hard work, is Spio not making an enemy out of himself?

I, Nana Biakoye, I am stating; and doing so emphatically, that I am not, and will never be Spio Garbrah’s enemy.

Ekow Spio Garbrah is his own enemy because if you walk around thinking that you are the best thing that has happened to human kind, you dig graves for yourself and when you fall in them, don’t waste anybody’s ears screaming and shouting that your enemies have dug graves for you. Mr. Ekow Spio Garbrah, I have no right to advice you but my simple advice is that, “come down from your very high horse; it will certainly make you a much better human being!!!”

And lest I forget: pride comes before a fall.

By the way, am I hearing that General Mosquito has taken Spio Garbrah on for violating the party’s constitution by making an open declaration that he will be vying for one of the six NDC vice chairmanship slots?

Ow Spio Gabrah; his pride is really going to send him quickly to his political grave!
