... Stop his tribal effusions

Dr. Michael Bokor must stop his tribal effusions.

I have been reading Dr. Michael J.K. Bokor’s articles for some time. I must admit he is a good writer but the contents of his write -ups are many a time, premised on falsehood and prejudices. For instance, he is always out to portray NPP as a tribal party specifically as Akan party to achieve his diabolical intentions. That idea has eaten him up. One of his greatest ammunitions he flags around is the fact that since 1992, the NPP flagbearer position is reserved for either an Ashanti or an Akim or personalities from Ashanti and Eastern Regions and it is bound to follow suit foever. I am at a loss why Bokor has been drawing such unfortunate ethnocentric conclusions and always going to town with such divisive doctrine. In his latest write-up titled ‘The NPP's "IF-CLAUSE" against Dr. Bawumiah confirms it all ‘’ referenced; http://www.ghanaweb.com/GhanaHomePage/features/artikel.php?ID=300997, he dwelt on NPP General Secretary Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie’s statement to the effect that: Dr. Mahamudu Bawumiah, twice running mate to the defeated Akufo-Addo, will be supported by the NPP to lead the party to Election 2016 only if Akufo-Addo decides not to contest’’.

Dr. Bokor, sounding treacherous went on to make dangerous statements, thus:

1.· ‘’For Dr. Bawumiah, the die is cast. He will remain a tool to be used to deceive those of his Northern Ghana extraction that they have a home in the NPP. But the reality staring us (the critics) in the face proves otherwise.’’

2. ‘’As for the Bawumiahs and other "outsiders" in this cabal, they will not realize that they've already hit the dead-end and will continue to make themselves available to be used and dumped at will. I pity them.’

·3. ‘’The proponents of the "Yen Akanfuo" agenda are still alive and bulldozing their way through the party's terrain to be given the chance to accomplish their childhood ambition of becoming Ghana's President "at all cost".’

I wish to point out to Dr, Bokor that he is wrong. His arguments are false, nonsensical and are in the deep realms of fanning dangerous and hate filled tribalistic and unnecessary emotions which do not auger well for the nations good. Dr. Bokor must stop these uninformed spew-outs in the run up to 2016..

First of all, Dr. Bokor draws conclusions with regard to the choice of the NPP Flagbearer/Running Mate positions from 1992, that, NPP avoid all other regions other than Ashanti and Eastern regions. The other day the loudmouth Felix Ofosu Kwakye alluded to same and challenged NPP to pick their flagbearer from the other regions in 2016 to show that they are a national party.

My reply to Dr. Bokor ‘s constant and unrestrained effusions is that I also draw conclusions about NDC with regard to their choices of Flagbearer/Running Mate positions from 1992, that they have consistently avoided Ashanti and Eastern regions. I therefore challenge NDC to pick their flagbearer from Ashanti or Eastern Region in 2016 to show that they are a national party. The reverse argument I have advanced against Dr. Bokor exposes his thoughts as jungle brickbat thinking aimed at stampeding NPP to stop anything Ashanti/Eastern for stopping sake and rather go to the other regions. I want also to stampede NDC to stop going to all the other regions for stopping sake and go to Ashanti and Eastern Regions.

Dr. Bokor says Dr. Bawumia is an outsider in the NPP cabal to be used and dumped at will and need to be pitied. That’s ok. My reply to Dr. Bokor is that the following personalities P.V. Obeng, Dr. Tony Aidoo, Ofosu Ampofo are all outsiders in the NDC cabal to be used and misused as tools and dumped at will. I pity them.

Dr. Bokor is saying NPP are the proponents of -‘Yen Akanfoo’ - agenda, apparently truncating Akufo Ado statement in 2011 whilst addressing NPP party members in Koforidua that—‘They say we Akans fear violence and run away at the sound of the gun’.

Again, my reply to Dr. Bokor is that NDC are proponents of - ‘You Northerners’ - agenda taking cue from President Mahama statements in 2012 whilst addressing NDC rallies in the North that-‘ You Northerners must vote for me because I am one of your own’.

Yet again, another reply to Dr. Bokor is that NDC are proponents of- ‘No Muslim can ever be President in Ghana’- taking cue from the declaration by NDC kingpin Fiifi Kwetey the Minister of State at the Presidency who observed that No Muslim will ever be President in Ghana.

It is a pity and regrettably unfortunate that Ashantis, Easterners and Muslims in NDC do not realize that they've already hit the dead-end and will continue to make themselves available to be used and dumped at will.

I will watch this Dr. Bokor man and I will reply to all his dirty tribal write-ups about NPP.
