The Anas exposé - Countryman Songo on the path to vindication?

It has been of great public opinion and perception that the Ghana Football Association (G. F. A) is plagued with corruption.

This perception became more fueled after Ghana's participation in the 2014 World Cup hosted in Brazil. The incidences which plagued the Black Stars' underwhelming performance in the 2014 World Cup has gone a long way to dent their image as the leading national football team in the country. The aftermath has been a dwindled interest in the Black Stars and a lack of concern by most Ghanaian citizens about our once beloved national team.

Popular journalist and former Fire for Fire host, countryman Songo who happened to be on the neck of G. F. A officials for probity and accountability was albeit surprisingly relieved of his post as the host for the popular sports programme for very strange reasons. However, what was clear is that Countryman Songo had a strong resolve that the G. F. A president is using his position to enrich himself at the expense of the wellbeing of our local football league, now dubbed the Zylofon Cash Premier League.

Social media is currently on fire after the news that the president of Ghana, H. E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo has called for the arrest of the G. F. A President, Mr. Kwasi Nyantakyi.

It is believed that the G. F. A boss has been caught on tape on the Anas' exposé using the name of the president of Ghana for some fraudulent activities.
Indeed, there are interesting times ahead for Ghana football and majority of us are only imagining the "I told you so" look on countryman Songo's face right now.

Would this exposé confirm what the people already believe or will there be other twists and turns? Only time will tell.
