The Emergence Of Ghana In The 21st Century

From a distance, Ghana is a country poised for greatness. And even as her name implies, Africans and their global sympathizers know for sure that soon, this country would strike a resounding cord on the global stage.

In fact, even as we ourselves are not quite satisfied with our political and economic achievement so far, if there is ever a promising story about sound democracy in Africa, then Ghana is a force to recon. Ghana's achievement, however, is not because we have successively copied our British colonial masters to detail, but because we have never forgotten our past as Africans.

Rich in culture, self-reliance and creativity we have nimbly taken the development of our beloved country to a noticeable level on the global stage and that is indeed admirable. In earnest, Ghanaians deserve credit; considering the turbulent political winds, we endured in our unyielding struggle to gain control over our own destiny as a beacon of democracy in Africa.

But while the future looks bright for our country, we cannot rest in our loins. Neither can we allow complacency to blur our vision in our pursuit of growth and economic freedom. Besides the greatness of our country does not just depend on the great history we hold as a people, but the extent to which we are prepared to strive for growth and prosperity as a people on this mission.

Therefore, it is imperative that we create empowering links worldwide to share ideas on how to compete globally and maximize our market share. For if, a simple farmer in the United States can afford to increase their market share, rake in huge returns and ride in luxurious private jets from their farm produce, why can't the Ghanaian farmer have his or her own private jet?

Perhaps, it is because we simply do not take the initiative to compete boot to boot, and shoulder to shoulder on the market that offers such enticing rewards to our neighbours on the other side of the globe. On the other hand, it could also be the lack of knowledge and that is why we aught to do much more to empower ourselves. Besides, government alone cannot solve our problems. And that explains why, I have taken the time out of my busy schedule, here in the United States of America to create the blog – Globalize Ghana. On this blog of Globalize Ghana, we would learn to find free business education online and linkup with business partners worldwide to take our talents and creativity global.

So, if you are ready to take your creativity to the next level or help your own people free ourselves from the shackles of poverty, then please take the time, to come and share with us on: http://globalizeghana.blogspot.com. Let this be the age – when all Ghana stands up to claim our rightful place in the ranks of successful nations. Your candid contribution to our prosperity and the bright future of Ghana is greatly appreciated.
