The Folly of the NDC rented Press

and Persons is Unfolding by the Day\

Not long ago, there rose in Ghana a seemingly authoritarian imbecile. He arrogated to himself powers of which the Constitution was completely out of sync. Deep down the line, he was flirting and colluding with the power that is. He instituted measures to deny majority of Ghanaians the urgent desire of their heart.

Majority of Ghanaians, the discerning and intelligent ones of course, had come to see the government and party in power as irredeemably corrupt, incompetent, visionless, and lost their socio-economic directional bearing. The people's living conditions had nose-dived and continued to deteriorate at an awful crescendo. They decided to give the selfishly, insatiably greedy government and party the boot by exercising their unique power and right of suffrage at the opportune time.

Guess what. Getting to the D-Day, one Dr. Kwadwo Afari-Gyan (the Chair of Ghana's Electoral Commission) carved forty-five new constituencies out of the existing ones. Almost all of the newly created constituencies favoured the ruling but myopic National Democratic Congress (NDC) government and party. His reason for creating the new constituencies sounded completely absurd in the ears of rational beings. He claimed the Constitution mandates him to review the country's constituencies after every seven years, or at the publication of the 10-yearly population census results. To review does not necessarily mean adding to, but also readjusting the demarcation lines of the constituencies to reflect evenness or near-parity of population density of the various constituencies with the landmass not being of paramount essence. Afari-Gyan out of obstinacy, hidden corruptibility agenda and dubiety of purpose, went ahead to create the constituencies. Many wise people prevailed upon him to reconsider his intention, taking into account the lack of time for the political parties apart from the NDC, to organise themselves for elections in the newly created constituencies. Time was of very essence but tried as they did, Afari-Gyan knowing of his secret collusive plans with the NDC ignored their wise proposition.

From the biometric voter registration, display of voter registers through to casting votes with or without biometric verification, Dr. Afari-Gyan has displayed his true corruptible nature and ignorance for all to see. His authoritarianism will come to naught at the end of the day when the Supreme Court will expose his behind the curtain's dealings with the roguish NDC government, party and personnel. To him I say, "Obstinacy is the cause of the horns of the hornbill"

Another shameless person with his NDC rented press is one loudmouth Mr. Know-All Kwesi Pratt, the Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper. He is the spitting-extension of one Alfred Agbesi Woyome, the award-winning swindler of the Century. This man jumps from one radio station to another spewing absolute gibberish about the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and her personnel. I wonder if at all he gets time to oversee and coordinate the publication's editorial activities or manage budget, staffing, and scheduling for his Insight publication. Rumours are rife that the NDC pays him a huge monthly salary in foreign currency (US$) and sponsors his children's University education in the United Kingdom. No wonder he is all over the radio stations in Ghana defending the NDC in all aspects of their governance.

Most of these "educated illiterates" without integrity have overnight become astute Supreme Court judges prejudicially crucifying the NPP's petition of fraud against the Electoral Commissioner, Kwadwo Afari-Gyan and the supposedly President-elect, John Dramani Mahama.

I assure all right-thinking Ghanaians that NPP has a strong winnable case against the Electoral Commissioner, Kwadwo Afari-Gyan and John Dramani Mahama. Afari-Gyan right from the very inception, wanted the NDC to win the elections by intransigently instituting measures favourable to the NDC. Why did he accept the case situation of some electorates casting their votes in certain polling stations and constituencies without submitting to biometric verification? The standing golden rule was, "No verification, no vote". This meant that not anyone not recognised by the biometric verification machine would be allowed to cast his or her vote. Why was this law or rule enforced at almost all the polling stations but not all? "What is good for the goose is also good for the gander" Any polling station discovered not to have stringently applied the rule of biometric verification must have their election results cancelled.

I have read some absurd comments by some ignorant persons trying to play smart on technicalities. As laymen as they are on legal issues and applicable legal technicalities, they are arguing that VERIFICATION as applied in the 2012 elections did not mean or state BIOMETRIC IDENTIFICATION of intending voters. Therefore, people could vote on other non-specified forms of verification. How nonsensical their opinion sounds in my ears. The verification as meant and understood by all stakeholders was biometrics, period.

From all the prejudicial submissions by NDC fanatics, lawyers, and laymen on the NPP petition to the Supreme Court relating to established election 2012 malpractices, malfeasance and repulsive fraud, one could see how they are shitting in their pants. The petition has sent cold chill down the spine of the NDC bigots. They are now trembling as if a leaf comes under the early morning harmattan gust. This confirms it is never good to be arrogant, overly corrupt, intransigently obstinate and lawless and a "big big election thief" as my Indian work colleague says.

One thing I believe and know is, with substantiated hard evidence of fraud and proven election malpractices against the Electoral Commissioner (Kwadwo Afari-Gyan) and John Mahama, the Supreme Court will invalidate the election 2012 results. This is certain. Kwesi Pratt, Mr. Scruffy Emaciated Mosquito Asiedu Nketia and their entire ilk can go to hell the truth will out. The truth will prevail no matter how long they cause distraction by their infantile nonprofessional's submissions on the issue at stake. I am sure Kwadwo Afari-Gyan is beginning to understand the folly of his obstinate stance taken when all wise people were advising him to the contrary.

Kofi Basoah's dream is materialising hence, my urgent request to the entire NPP faithful with their leadership inclusive, and all discerning Ghanaians to remain RESOLUTE in their fight to see JUSTICE done about the vote counting fraud.

I wish all my readers and entire Ghanaians a Happy New Year without further corruption by the NDC but their exit from power by an Act of Supreme Court Declaration.

DJ Sources, when are you going to play without ever relenting on the requested "Equal Rights" song by the late Peter Tosh..."I don't want no peace, yes. Equal rights and Justice...?"

No more insults from year 2013 forward. I shall be discreet in whatever I say or write so God help me. Nobody should please use this vow I have made today to trample on my foot else, I shall come back to hit them twice harder.
