The NPP's Akufo-Addo returns to Ghana: Still, the battle is the Lord's

Folks, the NPP's Akufo-Addo has returned to Ghana after staying away for six months after the Supreme Court had sealed his doom as the defeated Presidential Candidate at Election 2012, his petition against his defeat having been torn into shreds and discarded as an act in desperation.
His return this night is uneventful in itself, clearly because it happened at the time that we all knew he would be returning home after the NPP's national delegates congress had been shifted from March 1 to April 12 .
And we know very well the reason he gave for not returning home before March 1. Now that he is home before the April 12 congress, can he say that he will keep to himself and not dabble in the very internal politics that he had raised as his reason for postponing his earlier planned return? Over to him.
Not only that conundrum but another one, as is captured in the news report:
"Making a short address at the Kotoka International Airport upon his arrival, Nana Addo acknowledged the “love” shown him by his followers.
He indicated that he went to seek the face of God over his political future, as announced before his departure.
Speaking in Akan, Nana Addo said God has given him an answer, and he will make that known to leadership of his party in a special meeting.
He added that he will let supporters know about the outcome of that meeting."

A loaded news report to pique our curiosity!!
Certainly, his followers could only show him "love"; and his supporters aren't the match-makers to put him in power.
The point about his claim to have sought the "face of God" is the real nub. To see the "face of God"? Eih, amanfuo!!
And from this search, one gets the impression that he did see God's face to know the future direction of his political ambitions. If I get the chance to meet him, I will ask him how God looks like!!
Even, Moses who was said to have walked close to God couldn't see God's face. Ghana's Akufo-Addo has done so and will tell his followers what God revealed to him about his political future.
Is this man really serious? Hiding behind the transcendental won't solve the problems that sent him into the dark chambers of the Supreme Court instead of the Presidency.
Is he really setting himself up to continue chasing the mirage that he can't lose sight of? We wait to see. In any case, I welcome him back home and advise him to know his station and stay just there.
Certainly, he could only speak in Akan, not the locally brewed English that he credits himself with. Was it only the Akan-speakers that assembled to welcome him home? Indeed, a true apostle of "Yen Akanfuo"!
I shall return…
