The Pan-African Foundation For Humanity International

-"THE ROLE MOVEMENT"
Many Ghanaians have shown their willingness to contribute towards the development of Ghana, and thereby uplift the sinking image of our dear country. Most of such people have shown their willingness in words, and others have put their words into action. One of such patriotic Ghanaians is Mr. Emmanuel Ofori.

Availing yourself for the service of humanity is a very difficult task but at the end thereof is a blessing. Having worked with United Nations (UN) for many years in many African countries, this multi-lingua man, Mr. Ofori felt that he could do much to help the deprived and the poor in many ways. This conviction and his mission to save lives in Ghana and Africa in particular led him to form the Pan-African Foundation for Humanity International, with its headquarters in Richmond, Virginia.

With the help of many companies and few individuals, from 1997 to date Mr. Ofori and his organization have been able to donate items such as clothing, dental and medical supplies etc to Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Lesotho, Liberia, Togo, Sierra Leon and Zambia. The rest are the Philippines, Costa Rica and several other communities in the United States (US). These items could be estimated to the tune of over two million dollars (US $ 2 M). Besides these handsome donations, he has being helping in diverse ways. Last year, for instance, he led a 14 member medical team to Ghana to render a wonderful service to various schools and communities. These are schools for the blind, deaf and the mentally retarded, and many other communities and villages.

The most interesting thing is that he is not only doing it for our brothers and sisters out there, those in the United States (US) who have no medical insurance, also, get their medical supply at no cost from him. This is open to every African irrespective of where you live in the US. So, if you are in the US and you have diabetes, hypertension, depression, high cholesterol etc and have no health insurance, then this is good news for you. All you have to do is to pick up the phone and give a call.

With a network in nine (9) states in the US and still fighting to expand it, his vision for Ghana is to open faith based clinics in churches and schools across the country. Your recommended churches and schools will be highly appreciated however the churches and schools should attain certain requirements to enable them get their supplies. Please, keep in mind that he is not doing it for a particular church, school, region tribe or clan. It is for the entire country.

Companies and few individuals have being helping a lot, now he is appealing to the entire Ghanaian community in the United States of America especially the various churches and associations to assist him financially to enable him ship more medical supplies and other items to Ghana frequently. If each Ghanaian can contribute $1.00 a year, it will be very much appreciated. Please, this is a life saving mission for our siblings back home, let us try all we can to give him the needed support.

Now, this should be a challenge to our brothers and sisters in other parts of the world. He started it very small but now Ghana and Africa in general is reaping it very big. Let us try and emulate on his good effort and initiate something for the good of Ghana. He and his organization should be a "role movement" for those with the zeal to start something of this kind. Please, do not hesitate to contact him for any guidelines. He is imbued with all the organizational skills you will need. Actually, I don't know whether as graduate of many schools, he got his skills from the Christian Ministerial Bible College, Tennessee or the American College of Optec, California or the American Institute for International Studies, Barcelona or it is a gift from our heavenly Father. He is really, committed to the service of humanity and he has all the knowledge and patience you will enquire of him.

Brethren, let us not put deaf ears on this humble appeal. Let us all join in the move to save the lives of relatives and friends we have left back home. NO DONATION IS TOO SMALL.
