The absent of some diplomats in the government

We the Young Democrats thank the President for the appointment of ministers for various sectors. The president is working marvelously to foster the development of the nation and to continue the Better Ghana Agenda started by the late President John Evans Fiifi Atta Mills but there are some missing personalities in his government. A cross section of people in some regions have demonstrated to get their sons or daughters been appointed as ministers and some have come out to thank the president for appointing their son or daughter as minister or deputy minister. The development of our nation should be the priority of every concern citizens and this could only be achieved when people with experience are considered first and they will then mentor the inexperience once to take over. The President have failed in this direction as it can be seem in his appointment of ministers and deputy ministers. Mr. president the NDC as a party is blessed with able men and women with diverse knowledge and competency who are sitting behind the fence and we the young democrats still think you should consider bring them on board notable among this men is Dr. Ekow Spio Garbah who have in previous NDC administration served in many capacities and with a proven track record of excellence. We the Young Democrats and others ardent supporters of NDC can phantom exactly why the exclusion of diplomat like Dr. Ekwow Spio- Garbrah in his government. Moreover Dr. Ekwow Spio-Garbrah who has served the position of C.E.O of the commonwealth telecommunication organization (C.T.O) London has enough experience to offer to the development of the nation. In his position as an ambassador to the USA he succeeded in rebuilding Ghana’s image across the USA which included organizing an unprecedented eight- city investment promotion programme for Ghana’s president in the USA. As a minister of education, he was able to create Ghana education trust fund (GetFund) successfully which Ghana uses for infrastructure and students assistance programme. With all this achievements, he is still missing in this government. This government will be in leadership paralysis if people like Dr. Ekwow Spio- Garbrah is not considered in this government. It will shutter the Better Ghana Agenda plan. . Mr. president the consideration of this honorable man to any senior portfolio commensurate with his vast experience where he can serve NDC , mother Ghana, help project and consolidate the all inclusiveness unity and peace you are seeking for the party. In fact, we the Young Democrats and grass root supporters still wait to see the appointment of this honorable man to any significant role for him to help build mother Ghana and the intelligent government you are crying for.
We the young democrats have confident in the president and the NDC government as a whole but this is a major defect in the government. The party should not see this as an infringement but as a lubricant to foster the development of the nation and also to make the administrative work for the President easy in order to achieve the Better Ghana Agenda plan.
With the absence of Dr. Ekwow Spio- Garbrah and others , the inexperience will be manipulated which will bring doom to the NDC government lead by President John Dramani Mahama.
