by Samuel Donkor

For many years now, Ghanaians are dying softly from the killing me softly syndrome.

Ghanaians are dying softly from weak and corrupt leaderships.

Ghanaians are dying softly from bad governance.

'' '' from
injustice.
'' '' from perversions in social justice.
'' '' from widespread corruption.
'' '' from stark poverty and want.

Ghanaians are dying softly from corrupt and inefficient institutions.
'' '' from widespread dishonesty and
hypocrisy.
''
'' from mismanagement and inconpettence.
'' '' from cheatings everywhere.
'' '' from high rate unemployment.
'' '' from foreign takeovers in the
commercial sector.

'' '' from widespread criminal
activities.

Ghanaians are dying softly from corrupt judicial services.
'' '' from corrupt police service
'' '' from unprofessional police
handlings.
'' '' from endemic police distortions
and extortions.
''
'' from official favoritism and protectionism.
'' '' from corrupt and inefficient
health services.

Ghanaians are dying softly from continuous economic decline.
'' '' from high cost of living.
'' '' from too much political wranglings.
'' ''
from too much false political propaganda.
'' '' from public disrespect for law
and order.
'' '' from widespread indiscipline.

Ghanaians are dying softly from high cost of education and fallen standard.
'' '' from rise in social vices and
disorders

'' '' from rotteness in the society.

I write you the truth, Ghanaians are suffering from their own self-inflicting
socio-economic ruins. It is time we examine ourselves and return to our past
disiciplined life-styles and respected cultural values. .
