This Is Disgraceful David Ampofo

I watched Saturday 29th May, 2010 edition of Time with David on TV3 which was hosted by David Ampofo and had Mr. Kwesi Pratt as guest. Together, they talked about Ghana’s oil and gas find and especially the Kosmos issue.

I hardly take time to put my thoughts and concerns together for publication but on this occasion i have decided on doing that to protest the entire conduct and mode of questioning of David Ampofo on that day.

It came out very clear that day David Ampofo has swallowed all the propaganda being put up by Kosmos and their associates on the sale of Kosmos shares. He is entitled to form his opinions on the issue of the Kosmos shares and to disagree with the government on its oil and gas policies.

But as host, i expected him to put aside the biased, baseless and wrong opinions he has formed on the Kosmos matter and approached the issue from a neutral standpoint. He should have addressed all sides of the issue instead of showing openly in his body language and questions, his bias on the matter and apparent dislike for the government.

I thank Mr. Kwesi Pratt for the manner he handled Mr. David Ampofo and at the end exposed David’s ignorance on the Kosmos issue. I could after watching the programme understand how and why David Ampofo failed so woefully in his roles in Dr. Kwesi Ndoum’s 2008 election campaign. No wonder they did so poorly.

I am woefully disappointed in you David Ampofo and would cease to watch your programme. You have lost the respect and regard i had for you. You should be ashamed of yourself for the very biased and ignorant manner you moderated Saturday 29th May, 2010 edition of your programme.

Sincerely,
