Tsatsu Should Be Charged With A Crime Of Perjury

When Tsatsu Tsikata stood before the nine Judges presiding over the election case
and told them that, Representatives of all the parties involved in the case counted
the boxes containing the pink sheet on the first day and the number of boxes
counted was twenty four(24) but when they went there to start counting and the
number of boxes have gone up to thirty one(31), he intentionally and wilfully lied
to the court knowing perfectly well that, nobody counted the the boxes on the first
day since they went there to just familiarize themselves over the environment and no
counting of boxes or pink sheet was done. Tsatsu as an official of the court then
committed a crime of perjury and should be charged as such since he intentionally
lied to the court unless Atuguba wants to continue to play a sidekick to the
overbloated egomaniac so called law luminary who is not even qualified to defend a
traffic ticket in court.
A chief I used to carry his stool to Mansyia Palace who treated me as his own son
once told his own biological son that, all liars are thieves, murderers and Rapists
and his reason was that, people lie to cover a real crime or there would have been no
reason to lie and I have come to realise that, what he said is a reality with my
own experience in life having observed many times people lie to hide something they
have done that goes against the norms of society. Tsatsu has convinced me that,
his conviction as a felon for stealing from people of Ghana was the right decision
if at his advance age this man can stand infront of nine noble Judges and lied that
inventory of twenty four boxes was taken infront of all parties concerned when he
knew perfectly well that such an event never took place. When Tsatsu told the nine
Judges what is quoted below, he intentionally lied to benefit from his lie.

"My Lords, as at Thursday, when preparations were being made for counting to begin,
the boxes at the registry were 24. This was confirmed by our representatives and the
referees when they went to registry. However, My Lords on Monday, the 24 boxes had
increased to 31, and it is, therefore, obvious that the exhibits in the custody of
the registry have been compromised”, Tsatsu Tsikata stated. In his opinion It is a
matter bothering on criminality... My lord we cannot discount criminality from the
process of achieving justice."

Where is the record to prove that the initial count of boxes amounted to 24? If an
inventory of the boxes were taken, would it not be the Accounting firm KPMG which
has been charged to do the counting the one to have the record and that can confirm
what Tsatsu has accused the NPP and the officials of the court for doing? Tsatsu
said his Representatives and KPMG counted 24 boxes but KPMG has come out to deny
that story. Now let us hear it from the people who supposedly did the counting.
"XYZ News can confirm that international accounting and auditing firm, KPMG, did not
take an initial inventory of the number of boxes containing pink sheets (primary
electoral records) in the custody of the Supreme Court’s Registry before it started
auditing the sheets. A Senior Partner with KPMG, Joseph Winful, told XYZ News in an
interview on Wednesday May 22, 2013 that it was not part of their mandate to take an
inventory of the boxes of pink sheets.Mr. Winful said: “No we didn’t, it was for the
simple reason that whatever we do must be stated in the scope of work we are
supposed to do”."

This is a clear case of Tsatsu knowing that there was no official count of boxes by
the KPMG and told a fib to the court without his mentor Justice Atuguba who has
been treating Tsatsu as a King without even asking him for a proof of such count.
Why did the court not ask Tsatsu to prove that there were 24 boxes counted and
signed by all the parties as he alleged in his submission despite the fact that
Petitioners Lawyer Addison told the court that what Tsatsu said was not true?
According to Mr Addison,it was obvious that somebody had a sinister agenda to
deprive the petitioners from pursuing their case and also an attempt to delay the
process agreed upon by the parties.Mr Addison said the attempt was one of the
cooked-up stories of the respondents because he was unaware that an inventory had
been taken of the boxes at the registry of the court. Why did Tsatsu and Lithur come
up with this lie about the boxes have gone from 24 boxes to 31? These people are so
confused even they forgot they have told their INFORMER mouthpiece of NDC Owner
Koku Anyidoho writing under the pseudonym, Margaret Jackson and Nana Akua Tweneboah
Koduah that, the initial count of boxes was 10 which has gone up to 17 and Koku used
that information to write an article under the heading " Stop Thief! Somebody Bloats
Pink Sheets" in which he wrote,
"Many wondered why the Judicial Secretary of the SC will rebuff the National
Security from protecting the pink sheets when it is this same outfit which provides
top notch security to members of the Supreme Court. But the fears of many people
were confirmed yesterday when the counting of the pink sheets was suspended abruptly
when the respondents in the SC challenge of the 2012 Presidential results realized
that the boxes with the pink sheets exhibits have increased from 10 to 17."

The court if it wants to be taken seriously should call Tsatsu and ask him why he
intentionally told the court something he knew was not the truth and demanded remedy
from the court. Now talk about somebody going to equity with dirty hands and
Tsatsu's face will pop up. The Court should sanction Tsatsu for lying and if
possible ban him. Tsatsu should not have been allowed to conduct the cross
examination anyway for being an ex-convict even if the law does not stipulates that
since this case is a landmark one that demands we should have people with pristine
characters to adjudicate the case and not thieves and liars and Tsatsu would not
have passed that threshold.
