Uganda Baby Scare: Beware lest you hire a wrestler as maid or nanny

For some time now the Ugandan maid who was caught on camera abusing an 18 month old child has dominated discussion in Uganda and across the globe for the sheer horror captured by the hidden lenses.

Jolly Tumuhiirwe dubbed the ‘monster nanny’ has been charged with attempted murder and she is due to appear in court on Dec. 08, 2014. It is critical to also note that Jolly despite her sins sustained serious injuries following a beating from the toddler’s father.

It is hard not to want to physically harm her when one watches the horror video, I have heard folks in Ghana say they would have killed her straight, others have intimated they would have seriously harmed her.

Jolly’s crime was that she was in a wrong profession with the skills she possesses. She ought to have been a wrestler and not a mere maid.

It is regrettable that Jolly who is now in custody decided to use 18 month old Arnella Kamanzi as her target practice, visiting power maneuvers such as slaps, choke slam, face breaker and rib breaker on the poor kid but the skills certainly would make the likes of John Cena, Undertaker, Randy Orton and Kofi Kingston jealous.

The horror was that an already pissed Jolly did not want any noise from Arnella but when the kid in distress could not be stopped from crying and eventually committed the’ fatal sin’ of vomiting, Jolly body slammed the 18 month old, power bombed her, tried the neck breaker on her before finally hitting her with a suplex.

Thankfully Arnella Kamanzi is undergoing further test at Mulago Hospital to ascertain if any major damage was done but it appears global citizen’s worst fear would not be realised, Arnella will be fine.

Jolly Tumuhiirwe for her part asked the 'world' to forgive her for what she did noting: "My dad in Kabale was very sick and yet my mom did not have any money.

I asked my bosses for some money to send to my dad but they told me that I hadn't made a month yet and my father was dying, so it kept on haunting me, that is the more reason I referred the anger to the baby but I'm sorry.”

She added: “I ask the world to forgive me and also tell the bosses who have maids to treat them well."

The advice to couples is for them to do well to hire maids or nannies not wrestlers who can terrorise them. The employers of such maids ought to treat their servants reasonably well to avoid transfer of hate/anger on their defenseless kids.

For Jolly I can only wish you well hoping that you get a fair trial, whatever happens try and join the World Wrestling Entertainment in the US, you would be hailed and celebrated when you exhibit your skills and fight your peers.

I wish you well, it’s a shame you didn’t fight your madam rather the poor kid hence the backlash.
