"No Jobs Till 2013
Date: 31-May-2010
Until 2013, there will be no formal employment in the public sector for fresh graduates since the current macroeconomic policy framework, a three-year stabilization programme agreed with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) by government does not permit so. This means many young people who would graduate from tertiary institutions from 2010 to 2012, and those who graduated in 2008 and 2009, are at risk of being at home for a very long time. As part of fiscal stabilization programme, which led the nation to borrow about $1.2 billion from IMF, public sector employment was frozen, starting from 2009, a situation most economists and analysts described as harsh and would therefore hurt the economy."
Yep, that is right, for five consecutive years, this Mills administration is going to abide by the stringent measures dictated to him by the IMF about how to rule his own country and he is going to adhere to that rule. IMF has put a freeze in hiring of new employees into the public sector. This President had sold us back to slavery because he is taking instructions from his masters by selling us cheap for 1.2 billion dollars loan. Folks, this is a loan that we are going to pay back so why should the IMF dictate to us how we should manage our economy? This President has been a great disappointment and he should be well advised not to seek the Presidency in 2012 to avoid humiliation.
This administration came to power by lying to Ghanaians and continue to lie. How did this administration create 1.6 million jobs as beaver teeth Okudzeto Ablakwa trumpeted to us a few months ago when their masters told them not to hire anybody? This administration has no respect for Ghanaians and think we are all dum-dums like their stupid supporters by telling us they've created 1.6 new jobs, where are the jobs? It came out recently that, there are only 470,000 public workers in Ghana.
"General News of Friday, 28 May 2010 Source: Reuters 10 pct pay rise for public
ACCRA, May 28 (Reuters) - Ghana's wages commission said on Friday it had approved a 10 percent pay rise for public sector workers and that the potentially inflationary measure would be back-dated to January this year.
George Smith-Graham, chief executive of the Commission, told Reuters the pay rise would apply across the board to Ghana's 470,000 or so public sector workers and complemented a planned reform of the wages structure later this year."
Let me show you how Mills and his "C" team take Ghanaians as fools. This government told you they've created 1.6 million jobs when the public sector has only 470,000 workers. Let's even assume there was not even one government worker when this stupid administration assumed office and all Policemen, Teachers, Nurses, Doctors, workers at the ministeries, etc were hired by this administration, where is the 1,130,000 other workers after taking 470,000 from 1.6 million? Are they working in space that we don't know about? This government has tied its hands behind its back and those NDC "fool soldiers" Cadres, Azorka boys or whatever they call themselves should be told the truth that, this government cannot create new jobs in the public sector for them and the few openings that become available due to retirement are not going to be enough to absorb them so they better get their cutlasses and head to the bush for farming or make themselves available as day laborers to farmers. Managing toilets and lorry parks are not going to cut it.
This so called Social democratic NDC government don't believe in the private sector creating jobs for the masses and has put impediments on the path of private companies to create jobs in the private sector because they hate anybody who is rich. To the NDCians, all rich people are cocaine dealers. They've drummed that message to their sycophant idiotic supporters while their leaders are amassing wealth like there is no tomorrow.
It came out yesterday that, the government is going to recruit 2,000 new Policemen, but hold on, that is another NDC lie.
"Wa, May 31, GNA - Mr. Martin Amidu, Minister of the Interior, announced that Government would this year approve the recruitment of about 2,000 people into the Ghana Police Service, to increase its strength. He explained that the current police strength in the country was woefully inadequate and there was the need to recruit more people into the Service to make it more effective and efficient."
Fellow Ghanaians, that is another lie Atta Mess and his administration are perpetrating on the masses. This government would be contravening the contract it signed with IMF promising not to hire new employees to increase the number of public sector employees so do you know the abracadabra this government is going to engage in to achieve this? Their lies and secrets are out and let me show you how they are going to do this. The new recruits are just going to fill the vacancies that are coming up due to retirements and sacking some Policemen they are tagging as incompetents but are really not. The so called incompetent Policemen are those they deem sympathetic to NPP government and were hired during the NPP administration.
Here is the fact.
"General News of Monday, 31 May 2010 Police to lay off bad personnel
»Wa, May 31, GNA - The Police Administration will soon embark on an image cleansing exercise to lay off the bad personnel in the service, Mr John Kudalor, Director General in charge of Operations has said. He said this would allow room for more committed and qualified peopl e who would see policing as service to humanity to be recruited into the service."
While the Interior Minister Mr Amidu was bragging about recruiting new Policemen at Wa West, Mr John Kudalor, Director General in charge of Operations was talking about dismissing some Policemen at Wa East. This administration cannot hire new employees to the public sector, that is a fact because doing so will contravene the contract they signed with Satan (IMF) and Agya Atta Mess the President is not innovative enough like President Kuffour who snubbed IMF and World Bank loans and sold Ghana sovereign bonds at the British stock exchange to raise capital.
After 'selling' Ghanaians for peanuts at IMF, now Atta Mess and his administration that demonized President Kuffour for his innovative idea of raising capital by selling sovereign bonds had changed gears and are now talking of doing what President Kuffour did, by selling Ghana bonds next year at the British stock exchange.
Folks, we are in for a long ride for the next thirty months with this clueless administration so buckle your belts for the bumpy ride ahead.
