What is Kufuor Afraid Of?

KUFUOR has declared that he would not campaign in dagbon as a mark of "respect" for the late ya-na whose murder he has very much pretended did not happen.

What is kufuor afraid of? HAS MR KUFUOR SEEN PICTURES OF THE YA-NAs BULLET RIDDLED PALACE AFTER THE MASSACRE? AND THERE WERE SUPPOSED TO BE SECURITY AGENCIES IN YENDI!!!!!!

KUFUOR is running from his own shadow. B4 he came to power, the ya-na had ruled for 28yrs. I dare him to go and look at the ya-nas mutilated body. And he calls the ya-na his friend. If your friend should come to such gruesome end in your regime, then with a friend like you who needs an enemy?

If he could not rescue the ya-na for 3dys with all the state machinery at his disposal then one can read b/n the lines. A friend indeed. Shameless murderers. If you are in a position of power and your friend is murdered this way, would you be so lackadaisical in approach? If the ashantihene were murdered would he refuse despite a! ll the evidence to apprehend the murderers? Would he refuse to campaign in ashanti? The cat is now out of the bag. He knows something about the yendi massacre that is why he has refused to act and has declared that he would not go to yendi. If he wants to act on the murder of his friend, HE SHOULD JUST PICK THE POLICE, BNI AND MILITARY REPORTS OF THE MASSACRE. The whole evidence to the minutest detail including pictures and video clips are with the security agents so mr kufuor should stop pretending. He came to power to meet the ya-na in WHOLE. Now he is talking of a fiting burial for the ya-na. Well he knows the ya-na does not need a fitting burial from him. He should reserve such fitting burial for himself. The ya-na has a family.

Mr kufuor in today's daily graphic headline says "DONT BEAT WAR DRUMS IN DAGBON"." Yes this message would have been very relevant before the YENDI MASSACRE. As things stand now, the least the people are asking is ! for justice which he is running away from. But please remember you cannot run forever. The people of dagbon are watching. Mr kufuor should be bold enough to go and look at the mutilated body of someone he calls his "friend".

Aliu stood on the platform and declared that the NPP had provided responsible leadership. Yes reponsible leadership that has supervised the murder of a king and 40 of his elders. Yes a leadership that saw members of a neighbourhood commitee (5people) murdered at TAIFA without any action from this govt.

He also talked of freedom of speech, as if we have forgotten that GBC staff were interdicted for reporting about ghana airways. If the NDC had practiced the winner takes all policy they are now doing, where would aliu mahama have been, not to talk of been noticed for consideration as veep.

He talked of having brought peace and tranquility to ghana when he cannot even be bold to vist dagbon his own constituency.

NPP should remembe! r that in 2000, every presidential canditate was able to visit every contituency and every district without obtacles. Now they have unleashed and encouraged lawlessness on dagbon and they say they have brought peace and security to ghana.

During the 2000 campagin, there were rumours of what the NPP would do to the ya-na if they gained power. Kufuor went to yendi and assured the ya-na that they had no bad intention for him, now look what happened? The ya-na even campaigned for the NPP in the 2nd round of election 2000.

Yes kufuor should BE BOLD TO GO AND SEE THE BODY OF HIS "FRIEND".

Yes mr president can visit trouble spots in other african countries but would not visist the trouble spot in his own country. This stand confirms fears of his complicity in the barbaric murder. He set up a commssion(wuako) on which billions was spent to come out with a report which he has not acted on. The BNI has very incriminating reports which he has conveniently ignore! d. A national security operative (abu danaa) recently made very incriminating remarks about the govts knowledge of events leading to the yendi massacre. No one has challenged or called him for questioning.

The interior minister stated on radio that he had seen a video of the massacre and yet nothing has been done or said about this revelation. The yendi district chief executive whose transfer the wuako commission recommended boasts openly that if they touch him, he would bring down the "house".

The NPP has set a record. A king is attacked at his palace and murdered with 40 of his elders in broad daylight and no one is held accountable.

Nothing has been done to those who disconnected the telephone lines in yendi during the three days of the massacre. Nothing has been said of the security agencies who refused to intervene during the 3dys the yan-na was under attack. YES MR KUFUOR SHOULD FEEL CONFIDENT AND VISiT THE MUTILATED BO! DY OF HIS "FRIEND", For it is said that a friend in need is a friend indeed
