Who Is Corrupt? Kufuor Or Mills

To continue to be relevant and recognised in the New Patriot Party (NPP), former President Kufuor played to the gallery, describing President Mills’ administration as corrupt.
The platform was at the Efua Sutherland children’s park in Accra where the party had met to declare the winner of the party’s flagbearership race.
Nana Akuffo-Addo’s victory, it is believed, shocked Kufuor compelling him to make the corruption allegation, pretending to also endorse the massive support from the delegates.
This unwarranted attack has opened the paradox of former president Kufuor’s skeleton of cobwebs both from government and his ex-lover Gizele Yazji. It is significant to note how much commitment and effort he put in place to fight corruption whilst in government before his word could be taken serious or otherwise.
It is on record that no mean a person than Kufuor’s own party Chairman Haruna Esseku announced to Ghanaians and the whole world that the sitting president and an apostle of ‘zero tolerance for corruption’ was receiving kick-backs at the seat of government at Castle.
Gizele Yazji on Radio Gold on Tuesday, 10th August, 2010 also revealed that her former lover Mr. Kufuor has a lot of business interests both in Ghana and across the globe. According to her he is the real owner of the controversial Hotel De Waa Waa and Chief Kufuor, his son is just a front man like the other people fronting for him.
Others are questioning Kufuor’s moral justification to call people corrupt when during his presidency he strongly defended his government and officials perceived acts of corruption describing it is an old age phenomenon.
It is good for every concern Ghanaian like former president kufuor to expressed concern about the how the economy is run but very unfortunate when individuals make such statement s to score political points to discredit an opponent.
Known for his ostentatious life style and desire for wealth, Mr. Kufuor awarded himself a national honour worth over £66,000 (over one billion old Ghana Cedis ) for a gold chain when children were attending school under trees, and the affordable housing project needed money .
He also ordered two presidential jets for his comfort and built a presidential palace which was and is not a priority to the good people of Ghana; the list continues.
No one needs to tell Mr. Kufuor that throwing stones from a glass house could be disastrous, a word to the wise is enough.

Former financial advisor under the Kufuor-led Administration and ex-lover of the ex-President, Madam Gizelle Yazji has proclaimed that the famous Hotel Kufuor was bought by and paid for by former President J.A. Kufuor and that he owns the building.
According to her, she had negotiated for the purchase of the Hotel on behalf of and on the instructions of ex-President Kufuor and disclosed that his son, Chief Kufuor is just fronting for him as owner of the hotel here in Ghana and other business across the world.
Gizelle Yazji made the proclamation on Radio Gold in a rebuttal to recent claims by Mr. Kufuor.
She maintained that the president’s son had been in the meeting with the owner of the building and that she had done most of the talking and stressed that he (Chief Kufuor) just fronted for his father, the real person behind the purchase.
She disclosed that Mr. Kufuor have set up offshore companies and opened bank accounts in several countries and noted that the former President is someone who likes money a lot.
“Indeed, no one should believe first of all that the property belongs to Chief Kufuor, it belongs to Mr. J.A. Kufuor but for obvious reasons, the ex-President’s name is not being used as owner of the property,” she declared.
She revealed that Mr. Kufuor has bank accounts in England and Switzerland and argued that she is a person who manages many things all over the world and has evidence of all the allegations she is making to prove her case.
She revealed further that the ex-President has many offshore companies, which do not appear in official documents in Ghana and averred that she knows everything about Mr. Kufuor and his son Chief Kufuor and mentioned that he (Chief Kufuor) approached her once for advice on establishing offshore companies.
