Why the president must be investigated on alleged campaign financing by CEO of Menzgold

ASEPA called for government's official position on the MENZGOLD saga yesterday and thankfully today the Minister for Information has released a statement on behalf of government.

One of the many results we have and would be achieving this year and beyond...!

Definitely government's official statement contains several issues ASEPA must officially respond to and don't worry we wont disappoint,by cockcrow tomorrow you will recieve ASEPA'S official reaction to government's official statement on the MENZGOLD saga.

I have to address this issue unofficially because it is very dear to me personal and aslo very important to bringing closure to the over 1 million unsuspecting customers of MENZGOLD.

Quickly let me ask....

1.Was Nana Appiah Mensah,CEO of MENZGOLD and now fugitive or wanted person according to the bench warrant of the CID a holder of a *Diplomatic Passport?*

We are requesting an official independent enquiry to this matter. A few questions needs to be answered...

How did he get a Diplomatic Passport?

Who issued the Diplomatic Passport??

On what basis or capacity was he issued a Diplomatic Passport??? The Ministry of Foreign Affairs must quickly avail itself for this important investigations.

The second enquiry that we are requesting is on allegations that CEO of MENZGOLD financed the President Nana Akufo Addo and the NPP in 2016 elections.

Now hear me well, for those who think i am crazy, The U.S President Donald Trump is currently under investigations for alleged involvement of Russia during his campaign.

An investigation that can lead to his removal as President of the United States.

Several issues of his campaign financing have also come up during these investigations and even the Republicans will tell you its not looking good for President Trump.

I am giving this scenario so that nobody will go about confusing people that whether the President Nana Akufo Addo recieved financial support from the CEO of MENZGOLD or not it doesn't matter.

There are laws regulating Political party financing in this country.

Now that the CEO of MENZGOLD has been declared a criminal or fugitive by our law enforcement agencies,or has been charged with defrauding by false pretence,it means if the President took any money from him in 2016,those money's were proceeds of fraud.

Can you imagine your sitting President was financed to power with proceeds of fraud???

Doesn't that make the President an accomplice or better still a beneficiary of fraud??

Well the President can claim ignorance that at the time he was recieving those financial support from NAM1 he didn't know it was proceeds of fraud, well that could be true but is ignorance of a crime an excuse to benefit from it??

We live in a country where buying or purchasing stolen items is treated as a crime and no amount of proof of ignorance can bail you out such crimes.

Finally as a major political party, wouldn't it have been prudent if the President, then as Flagbearer authorized a background check on his campaign donors before accepting donations from them?

This is basic political ethics and it is done with all Presidential campaigns with goodwill to serve the people....You donot take money from people you cannot verify their source of income.

I hope by this simple explanations helps you agree with me that we need an independent enquiry into the allegations of campaign financing of President Akufo Addo and the NPP by the CEO of MENZGOLD.

The seriousness of this matter is that it borders on whether President Nana Akufo Addo is going to remain President of this country for the next two years or not.

If any of the above information checks out positive after the investigations, trust me there would be more than enough basis to remove the President from Office.

Thanks for your audience.
