"Pride goes before a fall". When the fall does occur, it is always with immense thud and very painful indeed. The illogical hardness of the Kumawuhemaa is not without reason. Her toughened stance taken to ensuring her choice of Ankaase royal ascends to the Kumawu paramount throne is in effect to prove the mightiness and the glory of God. As it was with Pharaoh of Egypt in the days of the Jewish bondage, so shall it be with the queen. God's mighty hand is at work; be it known to her, and her entire Ankaase kindred. Pharaoh unwillingly but shamefully succumbed to the will of God in the end. So shall the queen awash in shame, sweating profusely, eventually submit to the demands of God! And as God ordered Pharaoh, "Let my people go"; so is He saying without mincing words to the queen and her Ankaase royals, "Let go the Kumawu paramount throne to my appointed chief from the Tweneboa Kodua's matrilineal descent; the true royal and heir apparent ". When God issues orders, so shall they stand irrespective of human's contrary views to such orders. Hence the saying, "Man proposes but God disposes". God's orders are superior to any human expectations and or exceptions. God will subdue her; make her more humble to prove to every Kumawuman citizen that He is the God Almighty who has spoken and that He is in full control of the situation. Let Kumawuhemaa relate to the following Biblical saying thereby learning a lesson from it; "Prov. If you are too proud and overconfident, you will make mistakes leading to your defeat". She thought to have the whole world under her feet. She conducted herself ignominiously towards all those she came into contact with. She still does it. Now is the time for her to pay the price for her folly. The price is as painful as pulling the hairs out ones nose.
The queen with the support of her panic-stricken Ankaase royals has sought the assistance of one Akua Wurukye. Wurukye is to play that dirty game of "delay tactics". She, a simpleton without a fair share of the humans grey matter, has accepted to fake a history geared towards dragging the Kumawu chieftaincy dispute through a tortuous path, longer, and at a snail's pace as wished by the illegitimate Ankaase royals. She has formulated the most stupid story, the narration of which makes the fool looks even better and more intelligent than she, Wurukye, and her employers - the queen and the Ankaase royals. She, who asserts to be of the "Adomako Pim family", is even excommunicated. The queen of the said family, Akosua Agyemang, claims Wurukye is not part of them. How dare Wurukye then make a claim on behalf and in the name of the family that her "Adomako Pim" family is the proper and the sole owner of the Kumawu paramount throne? And in virtue of prerogative of ownership as a member of the family, (a piece of history and her belonging in the family shrouded in disputation and refutation by the "Obaapanin" of the family, Akosua Agyemang), she offered the Kumawuman queen's throne to the sitting insolent, greedy, selfish and myopic queen. The Ankaase royals who are robbed of any little intelligence and wisdom they have, if they had any at all, find Wurukye's story plausible. I should have asked them a few simple questions to expose their lack of intelligence and wisdom but for the sake of catching them unawares with their pants down as nincompoops, I won't. But for their information, their solicitation, employment and deployment of Akua Wurukye are like the morning dew that dissipates with the rising sun. Her story will not stand the test of historical facts as I have assembled, let alone those likely to have been compiled by the embittered Ananangya and the Odumase royals. Her nonsensically condoned and connived ploy will only be short-lived, same as the morning dew. It gives, but a temporary deceptive respite to assuage the pain and shock these Ankaase royals are sailing through. They never thought of ever encountering daring opposition from the true Ananangya and the Odumase royals. They thought in their warped mind's eye to have forever usurped the Kumawu paramount throne from the true noble Ananangya and the Odumase royals.
I can hardly get my head around the most stupid, audacious and uncompromising stance by the queen and her Ankaase royals on the issue of who becomes the next Kumawuman paramount chief. How can they be so irrational and that possessive? Once a caretaker, they are now claiming to be the sole actual owner of the stool? I cannot explain away their atrocious behaviour outside the word GREED. This affirms the rationality behind the Biblical Sarah's advice to Abraham when Isaac, the heir apparent, was born. She said, "Drive away the slave girl (Hagar) and her son (Ishmael)". She could foresee a contention between both sons over who inherits Abraham in future. To avoid that unnecessary sort of rivalry, Hagar was shown the exit as per Sarah's admonition. Now, the Ankaase so-called royals, sorry to say, the slaves in this case have not only taken full possession of the royal inheritance but are taking the true Ananangya and Odumase royals for slaves. "Had I known is always at last". If the Ananangya and the Odumase royals knew or had perceived the eventual wickedness of the Ankaase royals towards them, they would not have let them in as reigning royals in the first place. This assertion of tagging the Ananangyas and the Odumases as slaves is contained in a written defence statement submitted to the court by the queen when the Kumawu "Aduanahene", alias JOE FLY, sought to place a court's injunction on her. The said injunction was, and is, to bar her from installing her own choice of candidate as the succeeding paramount chief to the late Barima Asumadu Sakyi II. She had threatened and determined to forgo all procedural traditional requirements in respect of enthroning a successor to the late paramount chief, Barima Asumadu Sakyi II. She had vowed to impose her own son, one of the illegitimates from the Ankaase royal family on Kumawuman whether the other royal families and Kumawuman citizens liked it or not. What an authoritarian indeed! Oh, what a situation, where the pot is accusing the kettle for being too dark? However, it is never too late to right an abnormal situation by setting the records straight, the sole aim of my writing. I was so annoyed at her stubbornness, her lack of respect for her subjects and also for the fact that she dared called the Ananangyas and the Odumases slaves, to take her up on a true but tormenting historical path. This history path is not tortuous at all.
The so-called Ankaase royals with the sitting queen inclusive are illegitimate royals. Why do I say this? Not long ago was their forebear "Ayo" purchased as a slave girl from the then Ejisu market. A one-time Ankaase girlfriend (name withheld) of my Secondary school mate, used to tell him to his bother, "Kumawufo se yeye nonkofo nso ye di ade" meaning, "the inhabitants of Kumawu do accuse us of being slaves yet we are their rulers". There was once a man nicknamed "School Fees", he was a bit mental. He used to insult the Ankaase royals and the late Barima Otuo Acheampong to their face, mentioning that they are slaves from the North. (I don't by this mean to insult my fellow Ghanaians from the North but just to tell a history). The late Opanin Kwasi Amoako of Kumawu-Hyiawu did tell the history to confirm what many knew about the origin of the Ankaase royals but which topic many were scared to discuss in public. For the stupidity of the queen, what was once a secret is now no more? It is now in the public domain, and on the lips of even a child. The supposed Ankaase royals are not proper royals after all as far as Kumawu is concerned and as per their history of origin. They may be proper royals in the Fulani land where lies their matrilineal origin.
Most of the young Ankaase royals never knew about their history of origin until I started writing about it. Please Ankaase royals, do a research into my claims to enrich your minds with the knowledge of the history of your own bizarre past. I am in no way related to the Ananagyas nor the Odumases, but simply infuriated at the greed and the intransigence of the queen, the Krontihene and the Ankaase royals. I am only enlightening the Kumawuman people as simply a concerned citizen of Ghana who hates corruption and the pursuit of bad traditional administration that leads to the downfall of a traditional area. I am just sensitizing the Kumawuman people to their plight and the consequence of continually having the illegal Ankaase royals as their chiefs and queens. Many are those that think I am from the Ananangya family. I am not in any way near to the Aduana family. I am of a different clan lineage from the East as the Ankaase royals are from the North.
Have you got the story or you are still adamant to the point of needing more history revelations about your illegitimacy, the Ankaase royals? The earlier you relinquish your stranglehold on the throne, the better it will be for you. That is the only way to save the little respect left for you before my writings damage you beyond recovery. Assuming the Ananangyas and the Odumases were as slave as you, couldn't you sensibly rotate the occupancy of the throne between the three families? Were you genuine royals as the others, would you not be able to pass on the throne among you as is reasonably and fairly required? You had better see reason to reverse your stubborn stance for the better else, I will take you on single-handedly to your regret. I will write nothing but the hurting truth about your wickedness and your lack of vision for Kumawuman
. Have you got the point, my queen and my dear Ankaase royals? May God give you wisdom to discern the signs of the seasons. Be reasonable. Be it known to you that it is better to share than to be selfishly possessive. Remember, "A word to the wise is enough". And also, "One good turn deserves another". May God Almighty give you ample understanding. Amen
