Will the Supreme Court judges make Ghana proud

- Election 2012 Fraud?

I am constantly in consultation and discussion with the superior White legal minds about the petition of election fraud pending before the Ghana Supreme Court. I am extremely happy to inform the Ghanaian public the world over that these Whites are closely monitoring the case to assess how intelligent, professional and dedicated Ghanaian judges are in dispensing their legal duties, that is, justice. I feel very proud to have foreigners who are eager to assess Ghana judges against the rumoured backdrop of being extremely corrupt, unprofessional and biased when deciding cases.

I pray the Supreme Court judges sitting on the electoral fraud case as lodged by Nana Akuffo-Addo and Co. will be professionals, to detect and avoid any astute manipulations of facts by any of the disputing parties. I want them to make me proud by dispersing the perceived, rumoured or real corruption within the Ghanaian judiciary once and for all, by how they decide this case. They can only do this if they will live above reproach, look at the facts and credible evidence presented before them by all three litigant- parties.

No amount of bribes should be enough to buy them. They should let their integrity sail them smoothly through this tempestuous sea journey of discovery of, and resolving, electoral fraud in Ghana and probably Africa, for good.

The case before the Supreme Court is not to be treated with kid’s gloves. The judges should not see it as a joke that can be decided anyhow. The fact that John Dramani Mahama has been sworn in, congratulated by foreign presidents and dignitaries, selected his Ministers etc, does not legitimise his position if indeed, the election was rigged in his favour. The Supreme Court will be erring if they decide the case on emotions, compassion and other considerations outside the built facts to be presented before them.

The fact that John Mahama is the declared President of Ghana is preposterously irrelevant to deciding the case. The judges must decide the case on the merits of convincing facts and evidence to be submitted. Dr. Kwadwo Afari-Gyan, the Chairman of the Electoral Commission, declared him president albeit controversial contestations. Prior to declaring John Mahama the President-elect of Ghana on Sunday, 9 December 2012, the NPP leadership had registered their opposition to the move subsequent upon detection of gargantuan scale of electoral fraud in favour of the NDC and particularly, John Dramani Mahama.

I know the Supreme Court will not take into consideration the following perpetrations of criminal acts by some faceless paid, unpaid, rented or otherwise Ghanaians, in attempt to destroy some incriminating evidence. Nevertheless, I want to make them aware of such dubious occurrences that have the potency to affect the final judgment. Some police officers, either genuine ones or from the “Yaw Boateng Gyan police”, stormed the headquarters of the NPP in Accra to search and bolt away with some laptops and other vital documents. The national security agencies turned round to say, they were searching for cache of arms alleged to have been stockpiled at the NPP headquarters. If their statement was credible and to be taken serious without any malice, why then did they remove laptops and other documents which were not the weapons they were after? Why did they go there secretly under the cover of darkness without the knowledge of anyone but themselves, and their paymasters?

Are laptops weapons of mass destruction? Probably yes, because the information therein contained can expose both the Electoral Commissioner as election rigger and John Dramani Mahama as the beneficiary of rigged election.

Back to my questions, why was the office of Gloria Akuffo, one of the lead Counsels for Nana Akuffo-Addo and Co. raided by some unknown criminals in search of vital documents pertaining to the electoral fraud petition pending before the Supreme Court? Why again was the electoral commission office within the District office block in Atimpoku in the Asuogyamang district in Eastern Region raided and a laptop and pen drive (USB Stick) holding information on election 2012 removed? Nana Akuffo-Addo and Co. has raised issues with the election results in that area as having been tampered with.

Again, I have just read on Ghanaweb, Sunday 3 February 2013 under General News, a reportage titled, “Four biometric verification machines stolen in Amenfi” These biometric machines were among those used for election 2012 in that Amenfi East Constituency. The parliamentary seat in that constituency was won by the NDC candidate Mr Akwasi Oppong-Fosu. However, the NPP candidate, Mr Joseph Boahen Aidoo, has refused defeat complaining of election irregularities and has since petitioned the local court. Why should the machines disappear just like that?

Are the above committed crimes not telling the Supreme Court what the mischievous, corrupt and lawless NDC are up to? They are doing everything possible to obliterate any evidence that can nail them, proving beyond reasonable doubt how they rigged the elections.

I hope from these established criminal acts already perpetrated or executed by some unknown persons but hopefully in favour of the NDC, the Electoral Commission and John Dramani Mahama, the Supreme Court will take notice. Ghanaians have begun smelling rat. If the NDC and Kwadwo Afari-Gyan are not scary and being apprehensive of the guilty verdict awaiting them, why are all these perpetration of crimes ahead of the hearing and ruling on the case?

The onus is not only upon Nana Akuffo-Addo and Co. to prove their case but also, on the Supreme Court to be very judicious in establishing the truth and subsequently, pronouncing verdict based on nothing but the truth.

From the above, how reasonable will be the Supreme Court by ordering Nana Akuffo-Addo and Co. to supply the Electoral Commissioner and John Dramani with the requested detail and better clarifications of all polling stations and constituencies where electoral irregularities took place? Will the NDC and their rented agents not destroy any incriminating evidences against them once they become aware of the areas Nana Akuffo-Addo and Co. are disputing the results? I want sensible Ghanaians and the Supreme Court to answer me on this.

I shall come back to express my views as and when considered expedient.
