With or without strings attached; unpacking the Oral team's motivation

The ORAL team The ORAL team

As the saying goes, "the road to heaven is paved with good intentions." The Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) team, established by H.E. John Dramani Mahama has a noble goal - to recover looted funds from individual officers and offices in the NPP administration. However, the question on everyone's mind is whether this team is genuinely committed to fighting corruption or if it's just a cleverly disguised witch-hunt.

The elders of wisdom have it, that when you point one finger at someone, three fingers point back at you. The ORAL team members, including Hon. Ablakwah, COP Nathaniel Kofi, Mr. Daniel Domelevor, Counsel Martin Kpebu, and Journalist Mr. Raymond Archer, all have past records and relationships with the current administration that raise eyebrows. It's essential to examine their motivations and ensure that their actions are driven by a desire for accountability, not personal vendettas or political agendas.

Ultimately, the proof of the pudding is in the eating. The ORAL team's success will depend on their ability to remain impartial, transparent, and committed to justice. As Martin Luther King Jr. once said, "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere." The ORAL team must ensure that their actions align with this principle and that their efforts to recover looted funds are guided by a genuine desire to promote accountability and justice.

Some individuals have begun to scrutinize the members of the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) team, particularly their past conflicts and relationships with government officials. This scrutiny is focused on the following ORAL team members and their histories with the current and upcoming administrations:

CONCERNS ABOUT LAWYER MARTIN KPEBU'S APPROACH?

Lawyer Martin Kpebu is too passionate about corruption, which makes him appear vindictive! Before his nomination as a member of the ORAL team, the counsel was seen on several platforms throwing jabs and targeting government officials for their alleged corrupt practices. Lawyer Martin Kpebu's fervent anti-corruption stance may be misinterpreted as a personal vendetta. His intense passion for fighting corruption, although commendable, may raise concerns about his impartiality. This perception may undermine the credibility of his efforts, potentially creating scepticism about his motives. It is essential for individuals in his position to maintain a delicate balance between passion and objectivity. Ultimately, it is crucial to separate personal agendas from the pursuit of justice. By doing so, Lawyer Martin Kpebu can ensure that his efforts to combat corruption are viewed as genuine and unbiased.

HON. ABLAKWAH'S PERSISTENT ALARM OF ACCUSATIONS? Hon. Ablakwah is always throwing corruption accusations here and there, even in opposition, which makes him desperate to revenge for all the cases he lost.

Hon. Ablakwah's frequent corruption allegations may be perceived as motivated by a desire for revenge stemming from past setbacks. This raises concerns about the sincerity of his accusations.

The frequency and tone of his allegations may be seen as an attempt to settle scores rather than a genuine pursuit of justice. This perception could undermine the credibility of his claims. It is essential for Hon. Ablakwah to ensure that his actions are driven by a commitment to accountability and transparency rather than personal vendettas.

Mr. DOMELEVOR'S UNFINISHED BUSINESS?

Mr. Domelevor, we all know he has an unfinished business with the Nana Addo administration for supposedly letting him go home before his time, which makes more of him coming back for vengeance.

Mr. Domelevor's abrupt exit from the Nana Addo administration may be a driving force behind his actions, which could be fueled by a desire for revenge. This perceived unfinished business may influence his decisions and behaviour.

His premature departure may have left unresolved issues, creating a sense of incompleteness. Research suggests that unfinished businesses can have a profound impact on an individual's motivation and actions.

It is essential to recognize that unfinished business can be a powerful motivator, but it can also lead to destructive behaviour if not addressed constructively.

COP NATHANIEL'S KOFI'S IMPARTIALITY? COP Nathaniel Kofi, it is in our knowledge how he and NPP's Chairman Wontumi were at each other's throat for personal reasons. He, COP Nathaniel Kofi, was later spotted at the NDC's 24-hour economy walk, which makes him a more pro-NDC tool for witch-hunting rather than a respected national tool to fight corruption.

COP Nathaniel Kofi's impartiality in fighting corruption has been called into question. His past conflicts with NPP's Chairman Wontumi have raised concerns about his ability to remain neutral. Furthermore, his participation in the NDC's 24-hour economy walk has added to the scepticism surrounding his impartiality.

As a high-ranking police official, it is essential for him to maintain his neutrality to ensure the public's trust in the police force.

To uphold the integrity of the police force, COP Nathaniel Kofi must ensure that his actions and decisions are guided by a commitment to fairness and impartiality rather than political affiliations or personal interests.

MR. RAYMOND ARCHER'S MOTIVATIONS?

Mr. Raymond Archer, an investigative journalist we all know, has been in cold and hot battles with the NPP governments since former president J.A. Kuffour's time. His latest accusation was the NPP government destroying his USD10 million structure at the Trade Fare Centre. As a member of the ORAL team, is it time for his revenge?

Mr. Raymond Archer's latest accusations against the NPP government may be viewed with scepticism due to his past conflicts with the government. As a member of the ORAL team, his history of clashes with the government could be perceived as motivating his recent allegations.

This perceived vendetta may undermine the credibility of his claims and raise questions about his true intentions. It is essential for Mr. Archer demonstrates that his actions are driven by a genuine desire for accountability rather than personal grievances.

To maintain credibility, it is crucial for Mr. Archer to provide evidence-based accusations and avoid actions that could be perceived as politically motivated. By doing so, he can help ensure that his efforts to hold the government accountable are taken seriously.

The whole Ghana as a nation is watching with bated breath. Ghanaians are eagerly awaiting the ORAL team's next advancement, wondering if they will fuse in emotions at work or rise to the occasion. With the spotlight firmly on them, the team must "walk the talk" and demonstrate their commitment to fighting corruption.

Ultimately, may God be their guide as they embark on this critical mission.
