Woyome Although a Thief, has still been Freed by the Technicalities of the Law

Had the High Court Presiding judge John Ajet-Nassam not warned us long time (if not many years) ago that he would be compelled to take a decision that Ghanaians would not be happy with if the State prosecutors kept failing to live up to expectation? The State prosecutors were incessantly not showing up in court when the case came up for hearing. When they showed up, they would ask for the adjournment of the case citing flimsiest excuses. They had in fact; conspired with the NDC party and government to swindle Ghana out of that unprecedented gargantuan sum of money (GHc51.2 million).

Had Alfred Agbesi Woyome, that classical thief self-styling himself as the major NDC financier, not said on Peace FM morning show "Kookrokoo" that he had never signed any contract with the government to merit the payment of that fraudulent sum of money to him in the name of "judgment debt payment?" Why then has he been discharged and acquitted of crime, paving the way for him to go in peace to enjoy the stolen money?

For how long are Ghanaians going to sit on their arses doing nothing constructive, but just blabbing and watching while the "Odwanfun Mahama" who fears no knife, continues to conspire with other equally criminals to deplete the coffers of the nation?

It is said, when there is injustice, there is uprising. It is about time Ghanaians took a positive stance against the most shamelessly corrupt government Ghana has ever had in her socio-politico-economic history.

Who tells Ghanaians that a democratically elected government accorded specific time duration to govern a country cannot be changed midway through her mandate if the populace in their 90% or about majority are convinced by the daily unfolding events that the government is heading the country down a fatal abyss?

If a democratically elected government is defined as "a government of the people, by the people, and for the people", then the people have every right to rescue the nation from a rogue government that sees itself as above the law and can therefore commit reprehensible acts of crime and corruption with impunity.

In the name of God Almighty, the Creator of Heaven and earth, and all things therein, both seen and unseen, I can say without fear or favour that Alfred Agbesi Woyome colluded with the NDC government and party to simply dupe the nation. Certain personalities within NDC, including Betty Mould Iddrisu, benefited personally from that supposedly windfall to Woyome, the greatest swindler in the history of Ghana in this 21st Century.

There is no justice in Ghana. Ghanaians, let us please rise up in our numbers to rid Ghana of this lethal canker once and for all. The collective power of the populace is greater than that of the entire armed forces of Ghana put together. Let us wield the weapon of truth, decisive liberation action of resolute determination, to wrestle Ghana from the hands of the most obstinate and intransigent "Dead sheep (odwanfun) John Dramani Mahama.

If the current Ghanaian legislature are similarly corrupt and hence cannot pass a vote of no confidence in "Mr Clueless John Mahama", Ghanaians can do it themselves. How, one may ask? It can be achieved through repeated peaceful and violent demonstrations.

Ghanaians are sick and tired of the practice of selective justice, perpetuation of injustice and the stinking corruption by the government.

POSITIVE ACTION, RATHER THAN WORDS, IS NEEDED NOW!
