Yaw Boateng Gyan Cannot Be Serious

If the NDC is serious about coming to power, it must take a careful look at its present state and realise that majority of the party members are unhappy and disillusioned with the current leadership and the failure of President Mills to promote unity and confront the creeping apathy in the party. We are also not blind to the fact that men like Yaw Boateng Gyan ,who think elections are won on TV in Accra or sharing money to party executives to corrupt them are obstacles to the party moving forward. Every party should play to its strengths and judging from what is on the ground it is sad to say but President Mills cannot win the next election.

Yaw Boateng Gyan can insult Mr Rawlings and call him all sorts of names. But what we know on the ground is that Yaw Boateng Gyan, Dr Kwabena Adjei and others together cannot pull a single vote for NDC .Who in Ghana knows Yaw Boateng Gyan? Yaw who?

In the 2008 election especially during the 2nd round it took Ex President Rawlings and Mrs Rawlings extra efforts for NDC to win the election by touring the regions especially in the north. President Mills sat in Accra biting his fingers and was preparing himself for power sharing with Mr Akufo Addo. He did not have confidence he will win the 2nd round even though we had won more seats than the NPP in parliament. Where is the guarantee that Mills will get more than 50.2% in 2012? All election trends point to a reduction in votes thus if we do not take care, we could be consigned to opposition for almost 2 decades because of the kindergarten antics of Yaw Boateng Gyan and others.

NDC needs a new leader, period!!! We believe that Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings will breathe fresh life into the party , unite the party better and would restore the principles of probity and accountability associated with May 15th,June 4th and 31st December.

We are tired of political novices and latter day saints destroying the party with their selfish antics. Its time the party returned home to its roots and that will happen when Nana Konadu is elected leader.
