Well said, as a former student of the University for Development Studies (UDS) i was part of a group of students sent to the Bimoba area for our Third Trimester Field Practical Programme(TTFPP) For the first, second and third years, we stayed with the people for 8 weeks. My study community was Chintilung n.1 Since then i have come to admire the Bimoba ethnic group as very receptive, very kind and very hospitable. It's thus disheartening to hear that a Bimoba man is up in arms against his fellow Bimoba man. I know Bimbago, Binde, Najong 1, Najong 2, Chintilung 1 & 2 , Jilik, Jimbale and Bunkpurugu. The Bimoba's i met in these areas are not those we are hearing of today. Some of us are doing all we can in our offices to send development to the area. The number one enemy of the Bimoba is poverty not a blood brother of same ethnic group. They are making it difficult for some of us to push for development for the area because of instability. I plead with the Bimoba's to use dialogue, they should learn to engage and use their blood ties to solve their challenges. War/fighting have never produced a winner or a loser as both sides end up recording fatalities. To my Good people of Chintilung no.1, please peace is the answer.
