I really enjooyed readig this informative piece from beginning till i got discouraged by the bizare and incongruous use of words. I was totally made to stop reading this otherwise brilliant piece when i came across the word serendipity. was wrongly used and confounded the whole description. Now I am a Ghanain resident in China and was relishing the idea of coming back home to Northen Ghana with the kind of information the writter was given. But before I can finish the piece am tempted to doubt the information as he has made it clear in his wrong use of vocabulary. God save the Queen.

Boeing the American airplane manufacturer realized the strategic location of Tamale and instituted a plane maintenance facility in Tamale.
To Dakura Boni, this article is a great piece and the information was delivered that is the bottom line. I believe you cannot write in Chinese this good so give us a break.

Any serious SHS student ought to be able to enumerate the benefits to the north and Ghana of a real AIRPORT in Tamale. Expanded internal air travel, international air traffic into Tamale. The kind of airport the NDC gov't talks about will do the trick. Passengers will bring their spending power; car hire, taxi business, hotels and restaurants, refreshment and snack retail business will all get a boost. A boost to the economy means jobs in these sectors and revenue in levies and rates for the Metropolian Assembly to ensure local development. Let's hope Tamale Airport isn't a political promise.
Thanks for writing this piece, Danaa

This has been longed overdue. It is high time other cities in Ghana got face upliftment, of which Tamale is not an exception. May the project come to pass.
