Female and amateur golfers have joined the professional golfers on the third day of the ongoing 4th edition of the Gold Fields Damang Professional Golfers Association (PGA) Championship.
The tournament, which would end on Saturday 2nd December, started from Wednesday 28th November, with 54 professional and senior golfers from Ghana, Nigeria, Togo, Benin and Cote d'Ivoire.
The females and amateurs are joining a total number of 39 professionals and senior golfers, who made the cut after day two at the Damang Golf Course.
Ghanaian and Tarkwa golf club golfer Kojo Barnni, shot 142 as gross to lead the board after day two, with international and Nigerian golfer Sunday Olapade, who was leading after day one, has slipped to second place with a total score of 145 and Senegalese Samba Niang on third position with 145 gross playing four over par and is beaten on count back by second placed Olapade.
A former captain of Ghana PGA Solomon Harvey and Ato Asankomah are the notable names to miss the cut.
