Eric Henaku scored 222 gross to win the 71st Annual Ghana Amateurs Open Golf Championship, which ended at the Tema Country Golf Course on Sunday.
The second position went to K. Korsah with 225 gross, Robert Allotey was third with 226 gross, Pierrre Cousey came fourth with 227 gross while Owusu Ansah placed fifth with 228 gross.
Grace Komladzei won the Ladies category with 242 gross, Valentina Manteaw was second with 249 gross, Mona Captan took the third position with 252 gross while Mary Asafu-Adjaye came fourth with 256 gross.
In the Handicap event, Edem Atiase was first with 206 net; Sammy Adetola was second with 240 net while William Otoo placed third with 233 net.
Florence Etwi-Barima was first in the Ladies Handicap with 220 net, Adelaide Owusu-Adjapong was second with 223 gross, while Nora Opoku was third with 224 net.
The Juniors category was won by Van Derr Zeeuw with 181 net, Kwesi Otoo was second with 186 net while E. Nkansah placed third with 199 net.
The three-day 36-hole Scratch event opened to amateur golfers throughout the country was sponsored by Silver Star Auto Limited.
Professor Michael Ben-George, President of the Ghana Golf Association expressed his appreciation to the company for their contribution towards the development of the sport for the past seven years.
He said the association would do everything possible to ensure that the professionals participate in next year's event.
Mr Nouhad Kalmoni, Managing Director of Silver Star Auto Limited promised that his company would sponsor the event next year.
