J.S. Addo Seniors Golf tees off at Achimota

Accra, Sept. 25, GNA - This year's J.S. Addo Seniors Golf Championship tees off at the Achimota Golf Course in Accra on Saturday, October 1.

Mr Kwame Saarah-Mensah, Captain of the Achimota Golf Club who announced this in Accra on Sunday, said the one-day 18-Hole Stableford competition open to senior amateur golfers aged 55 years and above is being sponsored by Ecobank Ghana Limited.

Among an array of golfers who would be vying for the trophy include Mike Ezan, immediate past President of the Ghana Golf Association, Michael Ben-George, President of the Ghana Golf Association, Air Commodore K.K. Pumpuni, Chief Executive Officer of the Achimota Golf Club and John Sam, immediate Past Chief Executive Officer of the Achimota Golf Club.

The competition is aimed at honouring Mr Addo, former Governor of the Bank of Ghana and the first Board Chairman of Ecobank Ghana Limited.

Mr Albert Esien, Managing Director of the Bank would be the Special Guest of Honour.
