Kitisu wins Achimota President's Putter

Accra, Feb. 11, GNA - Bernard K. Kitisu returned a net score of 64 to win this year's Achimota Golf Club President's Putter Championship played at the Achimota Golf course in Accra on Saturday. Kitisu who played 42 Back and 41 Front with a Handicap of 19, will be playing to a new Handicap of 17.

Benard Keteku took the second position with 66 net beating S.R. You on count-back while Emmanuel Quarcoo placed fourth with 69 net with Nick Railston-Brown placing fifth with 70 net beating Mikee Aggrey on count-back.

Ellain Lomans won the Ladies event with 60 net followed by Florence Etwi-Barimah at the second position with 70 net while Mona Captan took the third position with 72 net, beating Eunice Adzakpo on count-back.

In the Professionals category, A.D. Quarshie came first with 70 gross, J.N. Kwashie came second with 71 gross, F.C. Dzikunu placed third with 72 gross while David Doe placed fourth with 73 gross beating T.K. Agama, S.K. Klah and John Dorman on count-back. The One-day 18-Hole Stable-ford competition which was opened to amateur and professional golfers throughout the country, was sponsored by Mr Mike Ezan, President of the Achimota Golf Club.
