Happy FM and UT Life Insurance would provide another unique opportunity for workers of both organizations and the general public to support a worthy cause by donating blood to save precious lives at the 37 Military and Korle Bu Teaching Hospitals.
Organized every year for the past 11 years, this year’s event will be held at the premises of the UT Life Building located at Kisseiman on Saturday May 21. According to Kwesi Sarpong, Programmes Manager of Happy FM, ‘’we are very excited to have another opportunity to carry out an important social responsibility as a station. We are expecting more people to come and donate blood this year than the over 300 people we got last year. We want to encourage all listeners of Happy FM and compassionate members of the general public to come and help save a life with their bloods”, Mr. Sarpong added.
Happy FM has been partnering with UT Life on this CSR over the past five years and the two outfits are again involved in the 2016 drive.
The exercise would begin from 9:00am and end at 5:00pm. There would also be free breast screening and health checks for participants by qualified medical professionals from KBTH and 37.
