Let’s make healthcare affordable for Ghanaians - Dr Poku

A traditional medical practitioner, has underscored the need for traditional medical facilities to provide majority of Ghanaians with affordable services.

Dr Israel Kwasi Poku, the traditional medical practitioner, who made the call, said this will go a long way to enable them access health care in order to stay healthy and live longer.

Dr Poku, who is the Director of Israel Herbal Clinic, situated at Mile 11 off the Accra-Winneba Road, was speaking in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA), on the role of traditional medicine in the nation’s health care delivery.

He advised Ghanaians to eat plenty of natural foods, and avoid unbalanced and poor diets.

Dr Poku pledged the determination of traditional medical practitioners, to complement the efforts of their orthodox counterparts.

He, therefore, appealed to the Ministry of Health to give the necessary support and encouragement to enable them live up to expectation.

Dr Poku gave the assurance that Israel Herbal Clinic would continue to provide majority of Ghanaians with the best reliable, quality, safer, secured and cost-effective herbal health care.

With ‘Messiah is the Healer,’ as its banner, Israel Health Clinic, currently operates in the Greater-Accra and Western Regions
